Wanna get really pissed off?

Currently, some known or suspected terrorists are prohibited from boarding airplanes by the government’s no-fly list — but all are allowed to buy assault rifles and other weapons.

While the bill remained a nonstarter, more than 2,000 suspects on the FBI’s Terrorist Watchlist bought weapons in the U.S. over the last 11 years, according to the federal Government Accountability Office.

The GAO reported that 91% of all suspected terrorists who tried to buy guns in America walked away with the weapon they wanted over the time period, with just 190 rejected despite their ominous histories.

Republican Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, a member of the House Select Committee On Benghazi, said former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton laid “a trap” for the committee by making her Oct. 22 appearance go “as long as possible.”

Oh yeah, Hillary victimized them.

Westmoreland, who hails from Georgia, explained that Trey Gowdy wanted to interview Hillary in private but Hillary refused, saying that she wanted it to be public.  Then she “stalled, debated, and filibustered” on her answers “to make it go as long as possible, so we would look cruel.”

No, son, you looked cruel AND dumb all on your own. You needed no help at that. You have that down pat. In fact, you ought to consider going pro.

Then he explains that the fat lady ain’t sang yet.

Westmoreland said the committee will be traveling to Germany and Italy to continue researching Benghazi.

What? No trips to the Cayman Islands?

Remember when Democrats thought that John Kasich was the only reasonable Republican running for President?

Scratch that.

“As part of a broad national security plan to defeat ISIS, Republican Presidential candidate John Kasich proposed creating a new government agency to push Judeo-Christian values around the world,” NBC News reports.

“The new agency, which he hasn’t yet named, would promote a Jewish- and Christian-based belief system to four regions of the world: China, Iran, Russia and the Middle East.”

Two months ago Kasich said that the United States should accept refugees from Syria.  This week he sent a letter to President Obama saying not to accept any more.

Y’all, they ate his brain. Whatever started in Ben Carson’s brain has migrated to Kasich’s brain. We need to build a wall around the GOP Presidential candidates. A huge one. Huge.

The good news is that Louie Gohmert has a opponent in the Republican primary.

The bad news is that his opponent thinks Louie is just not getting enough done.

Lufkin rancher Simon Winston thinks that Louie is just “promoting himself” and isn’t getting things done. Winston believes the same things Louie believes but also believes Louie isn’t effective. I think maybe we should be grateful for that.

He described himself as pro-life and a supporter of the Second Amendment right to bear arms who obtained a concealed handgun permit the first day they were available in Texas.

Winston said he opposes welcoming refugees from Syria into the Lone Star State and supports outright closing the border with Mexico.

“Until you stop the people from coming in illegally, you can’t get anything done,” he said. “You don’t know who’s coming across there in the first place. And they are bringing all these drugs in.”

So you’ve got your choice – tweedledee or tweedledum-with-a-cowboy-hat.
