George P. Bush’s House Problem

February 18, 2018 By: El Jefe Category: Bush

I don’t think that George P. Bush, being a Bush, actually needs money, so the scheme to buy his house in Austin is puzzling.  Get a load of this deal – Bush wanted a house in Austin after he was elected Land Commissioner.  So, he gets Brandon Steele, who also happens to employ Amanda Bush, GP’s wife, had his east Texas bank to loan GP $850,000 to buy said house.  But that’s not all.  The bank loaned the money not to GP, but to a Bush trust to conceal his ownership.  AND, GP didn’t disclose the home or the loan on his financial disclosure required by law.

Ethics experts say that the scheme may be technically legal, but certainly violates the spirit of Texas’ ethics law, but he’s a Bush – what would you expect?

Jeb! Wrong!

July 23, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Bush

Jeb!’s lips were moving on July 17th, 2015, at a townhall in Nevada, so of course, idiot juice poured forth from his mouth …

images“A law was passed, apparently in the Clinton administration, about whether, in recruiting offices … Marines or other military should be able to have guns. Apparently it is prohibited.”

That is so wrong.  First off, it wasn’t a law, it was a military directive. Second off, the directive took place under Jeb!’s dad, who is named – unlike Jeb! – Bush.

The military, who knows a thing or two about guns, is opposed to military personal working on a military base to carry firearms.  Some Air Force mechanic fixing an airplane, a member of the army cooking for the troops, a Navy guy on a nuclear submarine, or a Marine doing pushups should not be required to have a gun on them.  They have base security personal for that.

The military, who knows a thing or two about guns, does not buy into the false good-guy-with-a-gun claim.  The military knows for a damn fact that arming everyone is asking for problems.

Even Jeb!’s dad thought that allowing the military to run the military is  good idea.

The Evil of Big Words

And they call him the smart one.

Jeb Bush says we need a foreign policy with fewer big words.

UnknownBush continued, “Big syllable words and lots of fancy conferences and meetings and – We’re not leading. That creates chaos. It creates a more dangerous world.

You know, we need more little words like “Bring it on!” or if you’e in a big word whirlwind, make sure they are “Mission Accomplished!”

Here’s some more smart —

“This guy — this president and Secretary Clinton and Secretary Kerry – when someone disagrees with their nuanced approach where it’s all kind of so sophisticated it makes no sense. You know what I’m saying?”

Yeah, right, nuanced makes no sense.  This world is black and white and all those other colors make no sense.

The smart one.
