BREAKING: Republican Train Wreck
In the richness of multiple metaphors, the train carrying congressional Republicans to their retreat in West Virginia hit a garbage truck this morning. This is a breaking story; apparently injuries on the train are minor, but unknown so far is if anyone in the truck or surrounding area were injured.
I just find it ironic that the train wreck that is the congressional Republicans was in an actual train wreck today – with a garbage truck. The symbolism is overwhelming.
No republicans were harmed in the making of this incident.

5While the metaphor is irresistibly appropriate, (Republicans have (are), a train wreck and collide with a garbage truck), one man on the truck was killed and another was seriously injured. Typical, just as their polices continue to hurt the poor and the working class, while they get off without a scratch, legislation appears to have imitated life.

Alex Jones claims this is deliberate attack on wingnuts for the FBI memo, SOTU, and any other grievance people have with wingnuts.

Personally, I would encourage Republicans to stay at home until such time that each trash truck can be cleared by ICE units. In addition, ICE units should check all black SUVs on the road to make sure that they are not part of this conspiracy (maybe it should be expanded to all SUVs). Until then, all Republicans should stay in their homes and not report to work for their own safety.
11I went to Twitter, (why not?) so read the # buzz on this incident. Republicans agree that because the driver of the truck died, Democrats should not be able to make their “cruel” comments about the incident.
While my condolences go out to the family of the truck driver, it’s fortunate no more lives were lost, and injuries were kept to a minimum. Unlike the aftermath of the Republican head on collision with health care access and their promotion of unlimited gun and bullet crossfire in our nation’s streets, schools, movie theaters, malls…
So many condolences to go out over those two issues without even mentioning climate change, pedophiles as candidates, etc, etc…
12I know Crozet, the little mark on the map where this happened. It is very countrified and frankly the town is not a picture post card. Its as if they tried deliberately hard not to be attractive. There are railroad tracks IN the town. If you take a turn off the highway into the town within just feet you will go over a set of tracks. The infrastructure in Crozet is not safety minded. The technology needed to prevent this kind of mess is unknown in that town. Anyone think that Trump will make sure a little dot on the map like this one will get any $$ for up to date infrastructure? Nah. I thought so.
13Posters on Facebook have drug HRC into the attack. There has been speculation about Dems and Muslim jihadists and explosives and small arms attacks that never materialized.

In other news, Nunes won’t say if he colluded with WH on FBI memo but has essentially said the FBI and Justice were being investigated and that McCabe might have slowed down HRC email story to protect her campaign.
Wingnuts quickly forgot how involved they were in Benghazi attempting to destroy HRC’s campaign before it let the station.
