Alvin School Board

March 02, 2021 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Alvin is a little racist town just south of me.  Here is their school board.

Now, I know your first thought is, “Isn’t that a nice Morman family. It looks like all the wives made their own clothes. That’s handy.”  It isn’t. It’s the damn school board.

We’re going to talk about only one of them.  I just thought you’d enjoy seeing them all. The woman in the black polka-dot dress in the back. Her name is Julie Pickren. She’s running for re-election. She spoke at the Pearland (bigger small city next to Alvin) Republican Club in January.  Her topic: a report from the January 6th March for Trump event.

Yeah, she was there and proud of it. She even claimed the people breaking into the capitol were antifa members.  She’s running for the damn school board.

Thanks to Pam for the heads up.

  1. And Texas just got rid of the mask mandate. Masks are worn to protect others, so I guess that means it’s official Texas policy that it’s OK to be a jerk.

  2. She probably revises the school’s American History textbooks with a Sharpie and Magic Marker before they’re distributed to students.

  3. so if it was “Antifa” and she was there, then she’s “Antifa”?
At least according to her logic.

  4. jesus christ,, that is some herd.

  5. Anyone can see that she has a blue dress with white dots!!!

And now the FBI knows where to find her.

    Smartness. How does it work?

  7. Harry Eagar says:

Unlucky for her that FBI Director Wray was asked about that today, and while he waffled about everything else, he was definite about antifa at the rebellion.

    Nope.

Looks like a cult. Are the children of their school district being indoctrinated into being like them/her?
Figures she was at the Jan 6 insurrection. She’ll probably be back on March 20 as well. Maybe the fbi can meet here there.

I wondered why you described Alvin as racist. According to wikipedia, aside from whites, blacks, Asians and Pacific islanders, it has 11% other races.

Unless it has 11% Native Americans I am hard put to think who those 11% might be, but it does not appear they have a representative on the school board.

It does look like a submission for Sister Wives! This is the same place that our former Texas speaker is from – the only surprise is that he wasn’t there!

Here’s how you tell if someone is ashamed of what they did: they blame it on someone else.

Nah, she’s not proud she was there. For one thing, she’d never, never, ever claim she was antifa. Not in a million years. So if they were antifa, what was she doing there, hmmm?

Alvin is an interesting community tucked next to Pearland and Friendswood. Friendswood is absolutely hilarious. They actually protested a Chick Fa La being built in their town. Supposedly it would bring in the wrong element. One concerned citizen said it would turn them into East Pearland. So, that’s the kind of people we are dealing with in that area.

They used to be part of our athletic district growing up, so we have gone to many an event in Alvin and my daughter practices at a club facility there. It’s a nice place to be if you’re a white guy.

Julie Pickren is a traitor. A liar, too, but that’s minor compared to being part of a coup attempt and then trying to blame it on someone else. Honey, bless your heart and your missing brain, you can’t claim to be proud of being part of a coup attempt and then blame it on someone else. It’s either/or, sweetie. If you were there and you claim Antifa did it, then you’re Antifa. If you also say you were proud to be there, AND Antifa did it then…dear child…you’ve just admitted to being Antifa.

What I think is that you’re one of the mentally challenged GOP domestic terrorism network. They’ve turned your brain to porridge, a bland hot cereal breakfast food. Anyway, since you’re running for the school board and you admit to being in D.C. for the coup attempt, I’m turning you in to the FBI, because I oppose coup attempts, especially those based on the insane ravings of a would-be royalist who wants his family to form a dynasty ruling the country.

A moment of inspiration…I’ve always thought “antifa” was a lousy term to use for protesting fascism because people aren’t even sure how to pronounce it (including me) and it looks “foreign”. But why not use its opposite in form as opposite in function? I give you “PROFA”. With periods between the letters it looks even more ominous and Euro-trashy. P.R.O.F.A. Peoples Republic of Fascist Alliance. Now make up a flag for it, maybe black/blue/red with white letters, and hand them out at a Trump rally.

wikipedia, bless its crowd-sourcing content, describes the population as
” The racial makeup of the city was 82.28% White, 2.11% African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.79% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 10.88% from other races, and 3.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 28.09% of the population. ”

    US Census data from 2010:
    One race 98.5
    White 78.1
    Black or African American 9.2

I have emailed this woman with the opinion of two veterans (R- and I) on her citizenship level (sub-zero). I believe I managed to work “liar,” “oathbreaker,” “white,” “right wing radical,” and “domestic terrorist” into my commentary in the correct places.

I expect she will be peeved with me, but not as peeved as I am with her.

  18. Used to sometimes work in Alvin long ago, when it was still way out in the country, before Friendswood and Pearland and the rest grew out to meet little Alvin.
The very dominant Anglos were mostly quite racist back then, guess it hasn’t changed much. It was a neat little town though, good food around.

On working deep nights the place was super quiet, everybody was asleep, except the numerous area speedtrap cops. There were many speedtraps all over the ‘south and west of Houston’ region, don’t even think of east [and they used more than just radar guns].
