Adding To The List

Remember when ole Roy Moore ran for Senate in Aladamnbama?  Those were some fun times.

Moore got accused of being anti-Semitic during the campaign and to counter that, Moore’s wife went on national teevee and in a rage filled spittin’ spite outburst said, “one of our attorneys is a Jew.”  The fact that she said the word Jew as if it was sitting disgustingly nasty in her mouth for a couple of months did not help her situation any at all.

Come to find out, her son had a Jewish lawyer defending him against drug charges, but the Moore’s Jewish lawyer had become a Christian and been baptized before the Moores ever knew him.

Well, they have another distinguished lawyer on the team.

Garmon’s mug shot

Former Senate candidate Roy Moore’s attorney was arrested Wednesday night for charges of driving under the influence and for possessing drugs.

Trenton Roger Garmon, 39, was booked into the Etowah County Jail around 8 p.m., according to jail records. He was arrested by Gadsden police and charged with driving under the influence of controlled substances, second-degree possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

When Moore was asked for a reaction, he called it “fake news.”  They have an arrest report, a mug shot, and a bond set. Roy Moore is a fake human.

Look, I don’t know about you but if I was on a jury for a guy accused of drug possession, I’d convicted on the basis of the mug shot alone.

Thanks to Rufus for the heads up.

  1. They should be figuring out by now that “fake news” has run its life cycle. That term just means, “This can’t get any more true, folks.”

  2. Now now Me JJ. Innocent until proven guilty. But I wouldn’t want to defend this guy.

  3. Speaking of demented bigots,
Judge ruled that sobbin’ alex lost a suit over his unlicensed use of Pepe from the creator who is trying to reclaim his drawing from its abuse by the alt right and theives like jones.
    It will cost him $15,000.
So hows Bubba Jr.’s ongoing search for justice for the Sandy Hook parents et.al?
Alas the $15K fine might just bankrupt poor alex.

  4. if I were Roy Moore’s attorney, I might well spend as much time as possible under the influence of whatever psychotropic drugs I could get my hands on.

  5. Rufus T. Firefly says:

    From the Gadsden Times.

“Gadsden police arrested and charged attorney Trenton Rogers Garmon, 39, with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of marijuana Wednesday evening after a hit-and-run crash on Randall Street. Garmon gained attention as an attorney for Roy Moore during the 2016 U.S. Senate campaign.

According to the police report on the crash, a resident in the 800 block of Randall Street was inside his house when he heard a crash outside. He went outside and saw the driver of 2012 Jeep Cherokee get out of the Jeep and punch the front of his 2016 truck.

He said the driver — identified as Garmon — then maneuvered the Jeep in front of his truck, put the Jeep in reverse and collided with the truck, then left the scene.

He said he saw Garmon drive east on Randall Street, go into the oncoming lane and run the red light at Randall and Sixth streets.”

    He PUNCHED the Jeep??

It’s the little details like this that really drive home the level of these guys’ intellects.

  7. For some reason I flashed on old Bill Maudlin cartoon (Stars and Stripes) showing an old calvary man with a tear in his eye preparing to shoot his jeep, with a broken axle, in the radiator with a dialogue line of putting it out of its misery.
So I guess the jeep owner was lucky he wasn’t packin a pistol.
