Adam Schiff Drops the Hammer on the GOP
As JJ pointed out this morning, Trump’s Rump Nosers are going after Adam Schiff with a vengeance, especially after His Orangeness demanded that he should somehow be forced to resign over the Mueller report that no one outside of the Justice Department has seen. Fortunately, Schiff is having none of it, and dropped the hammer on said Nosers during the House Intelligence Committee meeting today. It’s worth the time watching the whole thing:

I would like to formally request resignations AND jail terms for all members who voted for the Tax Scam which transferred massive wealth to the… oh yeah, wealthy and absconded with the refunds of working people in a final slap on the face of millions who knew it was a hoax from the get go.
Including the Squash Colored Caligula of course, who signed off on it and has consistently wiped himself clean with the Constitution.

First, they attacked him for doing what he was elected to do.
Then they went all, “Wait just a darn minute! He wasn’t supposed to call us on what we did! He’s not supposed to point out what we’ve been doing for the past 2+ years! He’s not supposed to tell the country how we’re enabling a treasonous president just so we can get our tax cuts and a packed court!

5So very satisfying watching and listening to Adam Schiff. Nailed it. The Republicans did not know how to handle it. I suppose after having been told he’s ‘little Adam Shitt’ and a ‘pencil neck’ and listening to only right wing stuff they figured he’d just go on with the hearing after they’d finished. Take the time and do call his office and let him know how much he’s appreciated. Next time I feel like there’s too much sordidness I’ll watch it again and stay hopeful. Watched it four times and enjoyed it so much each time. I read that the Republicans didn’t come back to the hearing after the recess. As Nancy Pelosi said – scaredy cats.

I suspect there are some supremely butt-hurt republicant’s wondering how Adam Schiff managed to give such a powerful speech essentially using the same phrase over and again whilst the republidon’ts who came “prepared” to ambush him fumbled and mumbled their way through the script.
The idiom “the best defence is a good offence” certainly did not work in their favor. Perhaps because Mr. Schiff spoke from a place of integrity, morality, patriotism, and most importantly truth, he was able to speak with such power and so profoundly show up is attackers.
Watching his speech I truly wanted to see at least some embarrassment or shame from his “colleagues”, but sadly detected none. He gave his colleagues respect where none was deserved. He stood, and continues to stand, head and shoulders above the republicant’s and their master Trump at every turn. It must be so humiliating to be outclassed day after day, perhaps that is where the republican’s belligerent and bullying behavior comes from.
