A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.

16Crucial question: will we be slow zombies (as in Night of the Living Dead) or fast zombies (as in 28 Days Later)? I want to know if my zombie-hood will involve cardiovascular exercise. Also, if it’s the slow variant then I’ll want to head over to the nursing home, where the bed-ridden will provide easy snacking. Or maybe faculty meetings – those blobs could not escape from a semi-insistent snail.

Good thing I do not startle easily. Had both my cellphones on the hardwood surface of my desk when the test alert rang. Knew it was coming. Fortunately, our boys as well as the indoor cats and dogs handled it ok, too.
What is more difficult to handle are the conspiracy nuts and crazy anti-vaxxers. Polio making a comeback, millions of dead from their Covid-19 nonsense, etc, etc, etc ad nauseum. We could do so much better for current and future generations. ***If only*** conservative courts stacked by the usual culprits such as the Heritage Society could distinguish between freedom and freedumb.
