I am easily one to laugh at photos of people who make selfies with Republican politicians while wearing an “I’m With Stupid” t-shirt. Or wearing a t-shirt with a screw drilled through a baseball and an arrow pointing to the one fooled.

I am easily entertained, and they’re so easily duped.

So it should come as no surprise that when the Florida governor got a taste of Iowan photographic humor I just had to lift the pic from the Tampa Bay Times.

    Good catch! He’s both a flake and a fascist. That grin of his is is so fake, just like him. Shows there are some wise and humorous people in deep red Iowa.

    So painful that Iowa is now deep red. We used to have republicans here that cared about their constituents. I disagreed with them mostly, but they were actually trying to serve their voters at home, according to their lights. Now it’s all MAGA posturing and no real legislation addressing legitimate issues.GoverNOT Kim Reynolds is leading this circus in her bid to be a Vice Presidential candidate. She’s done an amazing job of seeing how many clowns she can pack into a state legislature. She got a snowflake too and just beamed. The People’s Republic of Iowa City has gone from a Democratic bastion to an island under seige.

    Wally, people that were a bit challenged in geography used to get Iowa and Idaho mixed up. No problem now- they’re interchangeable. I was around there (Idaho) for 30 years and remember many great, caring Democrats (Frank Church and Cecil Andrus to name a couple). Now Iduhooy is a place I can’t even stand to drive into. Feel sorry for my many old school and college buddies (they’re all Democrats). Also used to love to visit Floriduh, but that’s like a foreign country with a fascist dictator now.
    Both my late parents lived in Iowa (Garner, Mason City) in the 20’s-30’s (both were Democrats).

    This could be a money-raiser like Bernie Mittens (the proceeds went to Vermont Meals on Wheels, as I recall). How fast can those women crochet?
