Armed Trump Supporters Surround Biden’s Bus, Ram Staffer’s Car
On I-35 south of Austin, dozens of rabid (and armed) Trump supporters surrounded the Biden bus headed for a rally. Wendy Davis was reported to be on board. The trucks attempted to slow and even stop the bus, and a staffer, who was following the bus closely, was rammed by one of the Trump trucks. All events were cancelled due to the credible threats of violence.
This is a traffic violation and attempted homicide. Why hasn’t anyone been arrested? https://t.co/QnfF4vXMQn

Welcome to Texas in the era of Adolf Trump and his Brownshirts.
El Jefe, from all you and Ms. JJ have shared, Austin is fairly liberal. Is it safe to surmise these covidiot terrorists were outside agitators?
Not that it should matter. It’s serious when LE fails to do their job. Seems like the number of fired should approach the numbers of arrests. No arrests? Then every swinging Dick and Jane in proximity to this terrorist attack needs to be fired.
1in my state that would be assault with a deadly weapon
2I’m in California and last week my wife and I drove to Pleasanton on a personal errand. We found ourselves surrounded by trucks like these blowing their horns and waving their little fisties out the windows. Angry about something.
All white guys with their compensating vehicles.
They were well behaved enough but I had to wonder if my car was sporting Biden flags what their reaction would have been. They are too pathetic to scare me but I have a new car and don’t want to deal with damage in any case.
3I looked at some of the comments on the Twitter post. Talk about Republican snowflakes.
4Jane and PKM, Austin is pretty bright blue, but you have to go through Bastrop to get there from Houston. Remember Jade Helm? That’s Bastrop in a nutshell. (Yes, pun intended. ]
5Is the Trump Armada demonstrating freedom in America? The freedom to drive a bus on a public highway, or freedom to assail a bus on a public highway?
6This is damned scary. I often repost things from here on my Facebook page, but it’s just too awful for words.
7Tuesday: Vote.
Wednesday: Take Cover.

9Here’s some more fun. The official Texas GOP response when asked about this incident.

10My central coast area [CA] had a loud honking highway pass thru today of a nationally organized tRump supported ‘1776?? Interstate for Trump’ truck honk-a-thon today. I’m miles from the highway but had to hear an hour of the covidiots honking. ~yeah~
11The madness web page for today 31st plan:
‘Patriotic spirit of unity’- a little too late for that slogan.

Was all up the coast-
12Jane and PKM@1:
13Austin is a blue island in a sea of angry red.
Unfortunately, expecting it’s law enforcement community to be representative of it’s populace is too optimistic.
Like so many other metropolitan communities.
What happened to the much-vaunted “Drive Friendly” slogan emblazoned on so many Teas signs?
14Because the White Supremacist *Police* do NOT arrest White supremacists .
15you should tweet this to news – both local and national
16Seems that the little f—-r trumpjr. Told folks “ to have fun”. Can he be sued for sumpthin?
17And the note from Alan West? Talk about incendiary….
Gawd but I truly hate these people.
Someday they will figure out those that are “ anti-government “ are “anti” them.
Geeeeeeez
Saw the official Texas Republican response per Allen West. I guess that guy forgot a long time ago that he and his family are part of a minority these racist rednecks are targeting with violence.

19I think these were taken nearer to San Marcos. I recognized a couple of signs off the highway. The woman in the car said they were ‘running them out of Texas’. Hilarious she says. I’m hoping she eats those words.
Last week I was traveling from Austin to Arlington and I passed a truck with a pro-life and thin blue line flag on the back window. Later they passed me and they must’ve noticed a sticker I got four years ago from Texas Dems. A little four inch red square that says “I Didn’t Vote for Trump”. I didn’t notice a reaction until they were about a car length in front of me. They were showing me their maga hat like I would give a hoot what they thought. Big whoop. After seeing this crap I’m wondering if I should rethink my display.
20Damn! Did I spell that right? Hope so!
Here in the VA burbs we have no encountered anything like this despite the fact that U.S. 1, the original North-south highway, runs right through it only 2 blocks from my house. It might be because VA went blue a while ago. Had been hoping to attend a special prayer vigil later this afternoon on the grounds of my church. We were planning on praying for peaceful voting everywhere in the country, but it is raining and thundering at the moment and the forecast is for more of the same all day.
We can’t use the church until the Bishop clears it for social distancing worship. This pandemic really, really sucks!
I am very much for all that peaceful voting and I’ll give you one good reason why and its right in my own back yard. Our polling place is right behind the little elementary school down the street. Both of my children attended and I volunteered. ONce upo a time the school itself was a polling place which meant the kids got the day off. Since it is no longer involved in voting, school is in session. See what i mean?
21Me again.
Addendum: the yellow school buses are rolling here in VA. Some of the kids attend in real time while others stay home for distance learning. At any rate, I praying at home for peaceful votng!
22The page with the statement won’t load. It doesn’t give a 404 error it just hangs up. So either they took it down or very many people are trying to access it. I got the gist of it from a Newsweek article. The usual. Blame it on the other side. Project much?
23Understand king covid 45 applauded the very fine people in Texas that tried to run the Biden bus off the road. His “patriot” army. I’m sure he’s going to do it for the next 48 hours so there’ll be more like-minded idiots trying to get his public praise, and people may not be so lucky to escape them without injury. You know what really pisses me off (among many things) is these idiots think they own the American flag. They’ve hijacked it. We need to take it back this week.
24Oh, and just as bad- the Texas gop trying to erase 127k votes in Houston. F…ing pricks.
Everyone is voicing fear or laughter. This is how Hitler came to power. It’s serious. It is a coup. Whether it’s bloodless or not remains to be seen. But the trash who are joining Trumps army have no qualms about killing their way to victory, and all of the nice people who keep saying that we must try to understand the “other side” are in denial.
25Just listening to dumb jr calling for more of the same as yesterday’s assault on the Biden bus near Austin against Kamala in Laredo.
26If anything happens, he and his dad should be brought up on federal charges- today. Jr is too chicken shit to do or say anything without his daddy’s secret service around him. I would love to punch him in the face- just sayin. If you see him, you can tell him. Well, maybe I’d just fake him out, otherwise I’d be just like the cultists.
The MAGAot terrorist who rammed the Biden staffer’s vehicle has been identified, he is one ‘Eliazar Cisneros’, of San Antonio [more doxx info below, and there’s more out there if you search].
He also vehicular assaulted some BLM marchers in downtown San Antonio in September. Which was also recorded, and he was interviewed by various news media, but not charged by LEOs..
He also has a recent DWI offense.
So, are Texas LEOs or Federal forces going to detain and/or arrest this domestic terrorist, and vehicular/highway hazard to the rest of us law-abiding citizens? And any of his terrorist brethren?
One of the highway signs shown in those videos is for FM 725, which I used to commute on frequently.
Information on ‘Mr.’ Eliazar Cisneros:
95% certain his home is at:
206 W LUBBOCK ST
SAN ANTONIO, TX 78204
Owner: CISNEROS ELIAZAR
% Ownership: 100.0000000000%
Total Value: $160,750
1600sqft, built in 1947, small 50x98ft lot.
Located backing up to I-10, just yards from the northbound I-35 entrance ramp, off S. Flores St. In the SW downtown area, a rather undesirable part of town.
He claims a DV4 and HS exemption, bought the property in 12/2016, and appears to have an outstanding mortgage balance of ~$154,000 [so he looks financially shaky to me].
Look in Bexar County-

Just found another very good article on Cisneros :

Oh yeah, one more -personal- observation.
Many have commented on the obvious LACK OF LawEnforcementOfficer response to the vehicular mayhem that took place on I-35 between New Braunfels and San Marcos, TX, an interstate highway.
During a well publicized motorcade, known via RWNJ social media to be a domestic terrorist attack target, it appears that there were NO LEOs to be seen anywhere… WTMFF?
I personally drive, and used to drive much more frequently, that same stretch of highway, and environs.
29It has always been a giant speedtrap area, and always just eat up with LEO vehicles lurking -everywhere-, DPS, town cops, and county mounties too [and once upon a time, even aircraft].
The other day, when they were actually needed, zero LEOs around, zip, zilch, nada, very strange…
Pretty clear that Texas law enforcement is going to leave “law and order” to these armed political thugs. Thinking this is only a Texas thing is wrong. Betting the next several days will be bad in many places. By virtue of Trumpfs bullhorn of media and social media and how his cult responds means he (and his family) are openly inciting violence. The FBI needs to do more than just investigate. Oh, that’s right, they’re part of his DOJ.
30Here in SWVA, near 2 universities, the MAGAt flags on big compensating trucks is happening. Flipped the bird to one yesterday. Then remembered the TX incident and spent the rest of the drive home watching rearview hoping the truck did not appear. So far so good.
31Sandridge et al: Definitely the assailants need to be identified and their names, cities, and businesses they own published. But please don’t doxx folks (no matter how scummy they are) by giving street addresses for their homes. None of us here at the Salon would throw bricks through the guy’s window – although we might drive by and sneer at his haircut – but it’s a bad practice to get into.
There’s potential legal issues, and these nuts are fully capable of burning down their own houses and then claiming that JJ and her clients did it. Then filing suit, no matter how unjustified. Plus they just might have sane family members living with them. Unlikely, but still possible.
32Just heard that the FBI is investigating the vehicular intimidation of the Biden bus. I’m betting that either 1.) they actually do and the report gets buried somewhere in the media maze or 2.) they get a turnaround notice from Barr to drop it.
33The Surly Professor @32, While I respect your opinion, this domestic terrorist, Eliazar Cisneros, has already been ‘outed’ in many other places, including his own Facebook page [I don’t do Faceborg or I’d add more].
We have to fight these Nazis any way possible [low road if necessary, physical or violently if needed], they don’t hesitate to attack us however they can. They are your -enemies-, period. Backing down the way the affected Democrats did in this incident is the wrong way to do it, imo.
Viciousness in response to vicious people is not a bad move, it’s often all they understand.
He’s been at it quite a while too, found a Houston Chron article [link below] from 12/2019 covering a Biden -primary- campaign stop in San Antonio, with a picture of a shouting Cisneros protesting Joe and Democrats in general. Eliazar may be a dangerous outlier, but there are many millions who fervently support his ilk; as we know, one squats in our White House.
He appears to be a vet, so I would guess that he might have his insurance through the well-known San Antonio military-affinity insurance company.
Who, I guess, may be about to cancel his ass. He probably has that hotdog truck financed there too.
Perhaps his employer may face enough pressure to fire his ass too.
Found out that a man [Sr.] who may have been his father died in 2014, so he may have inherited or got insurance money that allowed him to put the small down-payment on the house.
Enough ‘negativity’ laid on this sonuvabitch might just bury him.
Picture 15 of 29, quite a legend in his own mind–
34“Joe Biden brings his campaign to Texas,
Austin Bureau Dec. 13, 2019
Updated: Dec. 13, 2019 9:51 p.m.”:
https://www.chron.com/news/article/Joe-Biden-holds-rally-today-at-San-Antonio-s-14906038.php#photo-18754544
I’ve mentioned before that I grew up on the Border. My mother went to a Catholic nursing school in San Antonio before WWII (after not getting her engineering degree because the man who taught a required class refused to let her pass his course–he didn’t like engineers and thought a woman studying engineering was even worse.) My husband went to med school in San Antonio, and I went to grad school in San Antonio, including helping my thesis director with the first program to recruit HS kids from the barrio into science.
Which leads into the following. Sandridge, I see privilege dripping all over your description of Eliazar Cisneros. Your “rather undesirable” part of the city, for instance. Know why it’s “rather undesirable?” Because most of the people there are brown: Hispanic. Speaking Spanish in the home. *Not like you.* It’s where they CAN buy housing. It’s where the extremely bright and talented kids we had in our program came from. Your sneers about Cisneros’ financial situation, your assumption that his father may have left him a nest-egg, with the assumption he couldn’t possibly have saved even a small down payment…that’s your privilege speaking.
And your ignorance of his probable religious association and upbringing is also your privilege speaking. San Antonio has had among the most rigid and conservative Catholic bishops, the kind who readily insist on their parishes teaching people how vile and evil “liberals” are. Prior to the 2016 election, I had an online friend, a Catholic of Czech background, who had been, for some years, interacting well with a group of writers of varied backgrounds. But in 2015, his priest and bishop began haranguing congregations with the evils of Democrats, and this man, in the course of one year, turned from a reasonable man who could discuss politics with any of us, to an angry, rigid, hating individual who sent me (when Trump was elected) such a hateful, vile email that I blocked him and haven’t interacted with him at all since. I ran across a post of his on another friend’s site within the past year, and he now presents as a foaming-at the-mouth Elephant, filled with anger and hate and fear. Hate-mongering is not confined to evangelicals.
I’m not defending what Cisneros did, or what he has done in the past. Nor am I averse to doxxing someone who threatens a political candidate he doesn’t agree with. But I am extremely averse to the ignorant casual snide remarks that go beyond what he did to your presumptions about where he lives and why, his financial status, etc. You are displaying the typical attitude of an Anglo for a Hispanic person. Hide it better. I hope Mr. Cisneros is charged with the crime he committed, and spends some time in jail, and learns that he must control his violent impulses. I hope you learn that a crime is not worse because the criminal came from a “not very desirable” neighborhood or seems to you shaky financially. In my view, those with more privilege are more at fault than those they encourage to do their violent bidding.
35The lack of LEO response to the Trump Trains is further proof that many many law enforcement agencies across the country have been contaminated (infiltrated and radicalized may be better terms) by white supremacist and separatist organizations on the far right. The FBI has said so in the past.
Since the Texas DPS is tasked largely with patrolling Texas highways, its absence should result in immediate questions asked at the state level…where were they, why weren’t they patrolling, why weren’t arrests made, etc. Same in Houston. The recruitment and training of all LE organizations in the state needs an overhaul.
36
