And It’s Contagious!
Well, Governor Abbott has apparently coughed on Senator John Cornyn.
Bless Cornyn’s pitiful heart, he’s now blaming Democrats for the rise of Covid 19. He has now tweeted that State Representative Gene Wu of Houston should “quit trying to scare people” because Wu explained the hospital situation in Texas.
Cornyn’s tweet was in response to Houston state Rep. Gene Wu, a Houston Democrat, who tweeted a link to a news story about the Texas Medical Center reporting 97 percent of its intensive care beds in use with the comment: “We’re at the edge of the cliff. After these next few days, we will not have enough beds to care for all of the incoming #COVID19 patients. Then people die.”
Cornyn said that most of the cases in the ICU were not because of the virus and that those that are will probably recover.
Cornyn never was very good at math. (However, he must have gotten a medical degree when we weren’t looking.) A filled bed is a filled bed. If I have Covid19, I’ll need a bed, no matter how many car wrecks or heart attacks happened the night before. If that bed is not there, that’s a problem.
There’s a difference between scaring people and informing people.
It might be possible to excuse Cornyn’s comment as temporarily muddled thinking. But if you look at Cornyn statements over the years, they’re all that confused and illogical. This is who we’ve had representing us in the Senate for 12 damn years, someone with serious cognitive issues.
1I have been contacting him for years over different issues. Responses are always the same. Everything is Obsmas fault or the democrats. This is the new mantra of Herr Von Tfump. These our the new court jesters. Please people vote 2020 or we will be having coronation instead of an inauguration.
2After Kamala Harris took him down the other day about open Judiciary Cmmt. meetings, you imagine he might think twice before starting up with another person whose brain is functional. One more reason he needs to go in November. Come to think of it, so do Gohmert, Sessions and the rest of the GOP who are up this year; I’m tired of having to feel remorse when I have to say I’m from Texas.

5I swear! There are some people around who must put their hand on the bottom of a hot coffeepot and actually find that its hot enough to burn human skin and just keep doing it! Yup. Stupis sure is contagious and it can also kill you very, very dead.
