Trump has Unscheduled Medical Visit
Yesterday, Trump had an unscheduled 2 hour medical appointment at Walter Reed. In a written statement, Stephanie Grisham, new White House press secretary toady, spouted some tripe about “getting a head start” on his annual physical for 2020. I call bullshit. This is one of two things: 1) He has a real health problem born of his morbid obesity, poor physical condition, and horrible diet; 2) This is the setup for manufacturing a health problem that will eventually end in a resignation from the office “for health reasons”.
First let’s talk about his physical condition. Trump and his enablers regularly lie about his health. He and his doctors claim he’s 6′ 3″. That’s not even close. I actually met him at a golf tournament about 15 years ago and he was not as tall as me, and I’m 6’0″. Also, he’s known for a really goofy forward leaning, ass sticking out posture. Here’s an example:
Also, Trump’s trouser length varies greatly, sometimes clownishly long. Here’s a pic of Trump when he visited a Virginia church arriving directly from one of his hundreds of rounds of golf.
Analysts of body language say this odd posture is because Trump wears shoes with 2 1/2″ to 3″ lifts in them to make him look taller. Those lifts throw off his balance causing this posture to lean noticeably forward to stay upright. When he’s not wearing lifts, like when he plays golf, his trousers are way too long.
Why does Trump do this? Probably for the same reason he lies about his hand size, intellect, global knowledge, and “unmatched wisdom”, but also to hide the fact that he’s morbidly obese. His last physical in February 2018 had him at 243 lbs., 4 lbs. over his previous physical. At his fictionalized height, that would give him a body mass index of 30.4, right on the edge of obesity. At an actual height of, say, 5’10”, which has been projected as his actual height, that gives him a BMI of 34.9, right on the edge of morbid obesity. With his other maladies, such as physical condition, high cholesterol, and grade school boy diet, he’s clearly in the morbid zone.
Having talked about his actual terrible condition, let’s talk about a “bad health” exit strategy. This is actually the perfect exit for Trump once the tsunami of evidence against he gets so high that even he can no longer ignore and attack it. Think about it – his doctors today freely lie about his condition; it’s conceivable that (in lieu of an actual health crisis) doctors could diagnose him with just about any malady and it would be believable. He could resign based on this diagnosis, saving at least some face, ushering in Pence who would then pardon him for at least all of his federal crimes. Trump could then retire to Mara Lago out of the public eye and then start fighting the state charges that would surely come.
Call me crazy, but I’ve always believed that a health based resignation could be a viable alternative for Trump to avoid facing impeachment charges.

1I’d take that. McConnell must be contemplating life without Trump by now. Personally, I hope for removal. That way, no pardons of any kind. And we really need to stop beating around the bush. Trump needs to be dictator – needs to be – for life. Otherwise, he faces a remaining lifetime of one or more of courtrooms, prison, asylum or gallows. Do we still hang traitors?
I once heard a tale of the Old West involving a rotund bandit, an inexperienced hangman and improper geometry. The story goes when the trap was sprung El Gordo’s head popped like a champagne cork and didn’t hit the ground until well after his body. Biggest ratings in history, Don. Think about it.
I guess the point here is – we don’t do dictators. No need to be polite.
2We want evidence. A toe tag is a good indication of health issues; anything less will be suspect always in regards to IQ4.5.
Pence. Pardoning the Orange Foolius will boomerang on him harder and faster than the Nixon pardon slapped Gerry Ford.

3This scenario makes sense, only if one thinks Dolt 45 would willingly let the reins of power go. I’m not so sure about that. If Pence pardons him, that will set Pence up for charges as well. Of course, if all this leaves the Rethug party in a pile of smoldering ashes, I wouldn’t mind.
Also, he has told so many lies that he has become a danger to national security in that, were something dire to happen, I’m not sure anybody would believe him or anybody in his maladministration.
In any event, he’s going to leave behind a real mess.

Trump’s medical affliction is similar to what I see many people in the U.S. about my age and his. They were born with reasonably good physiques but haven’t realized that at their advanced age they simply can’t get away with what they got away with when they were younger. As recent as 10 years ago.
And this is deadly with Trump’s intuitive decision making mindset. He is telling himself “I always ate this and it was fine so what’s the problem?” and a lot of other Americans do the same thing. He doesn’t realize that the assets of his once babe-killing bod have all been spent.
The fact is that he obviously in a full-blown state of carbohydrate addiction and no amount of bombast or cheering crowds or sneaky lawyers and minions will be able to shield him from the consequences.
6I wouldn’t be at all surprised if 45 is in poor health, wears elevator shoes, etc. But the photo purporting to show his weird posture isn’t very convincing because, unless the Washington Monument in the background has become a leaning tower, the camera was held at an angle.
7No. Read the article I posted. It gives several examples of this posture with his arms hanging in front of him rather than at his side.
8I can’t begin to decide what I think frump will do other than be certain he’ll come up with something. I do believe that he’s made sure to dirty dense enough that if he goes down he’ll take the vp with him. So the rethugs will impede the impeachment investigation with all they have to avoid even a short a Pelosi presidency. If a medical resignation would stop the current investigation, frump might try it. Since Congress will need to complete their investigation into traitorous acts, I’m not sure what strategy will work for the criminal. Praying for RBG’s health but the Orange turd can keel over anytime. God save America.

I had one. Went to the emergency room. Turns out, I had had an unknown to me heart attack a couple days prior.
If so, he’ll get the same treatment Bernie got and be better than new in a week or two.

Then, as he goes off script in a final farewell under the rotating blades of Marine One, he’ll describe how his resignation will be tendered at a dinner with 12 of his closest cabinet members, a “last” Presidential dinner as it were, what many, many people who live on the East Coast would call dinner, but a meal others, especially the really really good citizens living the heart of America might call… supper.

It’s not possible with his psychopathic narcissist disorder. I’m hoping he’ll have a complete mental breakdown. Maybe his unannounced 2 hour visit (I read it was actually 4 hours) was a mental health emergency. We can hope!
27Having worked with people with personality disorders as a mental health professional, I immediately thought Panic Attack which would feel like a heart attack. I would be very surprised if he resigned due to a health condition. That would be admitting that he’s not healthier and better than everyone else. Which is not something someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder is likely to do. Ever.

31Physical health is one issue (or really a bunch of issues), but I would not be surprised if he had a mental or emotional breakdown.

33I do not think that Trump is capable of resigning. That would be admitting defeat, even with a plausible excuse such as wanting to live longer. He would have to use those extra days with the knowledge that he is a self-admitted loser. That would kill him.

35As a standard issue person with Medicare, I find it interesting that he went to see a doctor in a large clinical practice on a Saturday. Something – panic attack, chest pains, etc. – happened on Friday. WH medicos were scared and he was hustled off to begin his “physical.” And if he were on Medicare he could only have one regular physical every two years!

41My friend who alerted me to the news story this morning suggested a heart attack. I refuted her theory because, for that to happen he would first need to have a heart.
Here’s my conjecture: there was no reason to visit the hospital at all. He simply summoned his motorcade, his entourage and the secret service and made a taxpayer-funded visit to a hospital in order to drum up the sympathy vote from those among his followers who have begun to waver. If he can get them back in line, R Senators won’t dare vote for his removal.

And where he lives, there are not enough potted plants in all the rooms he inhabits to take that much of a pour out at every social function. His liver is most likely making medical noises.
