John Cornyn, Fully Trumped Up
Well, Texas Senator John Cornyn just belched loudly after finishing his full glass of Trump juice.
John, dear, the “supposedly intelligent people” understand why Trump’s actions that day were over the fence of rational, human, and caring behavior.
If the family had asked Trump to come dance on the graves of that child’s parents, would Trump have merrily done that with photo ops? Come to think of it, that’s pretty much what he’s doing in that picture, so, yeah, he’d probably do it, just so long he didn’t have to touch the kid in any way at all.
It is the job of a president to behave in an appropriate manner even when everybody around him is not doing so.
But now you have a picture of what John Cornyn thinks is appropriate behavior. Remember that on election day. And remember that he’s drunk on Trump juice.
Sen. Cornhole is about as stupid as Louie Gohmert.

And is that really the baby whose parents were killed? I remember reading that he had some broken bones as a result of his mother falling on him, and this baby doesn’t look like he has any problems of that kind at all.

Well, we all know that Cornyn never publicly professed to have a good ear for politics. And boy howdy does he ever prove it when he can!
10Sandridge, I have no idea as to what Mr. Anchondo’s single issue might be. But I remember the last election when a woman who for all purposed seemed normal and educated supported Donnie. Her issue was abortion. After everything IQ4.5 said about Muslims, she a Muslim-American woman (forgot her country of origin) she hung her vote on the abortion non-issue. Single issue voters wherever their port of origin are nearly as stubborn as the st00pid born here who vote against their own interests.
Forget Republicons. We need Democratic candidates who can excite Democratic voters and attract potential voters from the non-participating pool.

I appreciated Joaquin Castro tweet exposing some of the San Antonio big dollar Trump donors [although I know of some he left out, like car dealers Red McCombs, Cavender, et al].
The Repukes got all bent over that, they’re still trying to go after Castro; legally now, per a news blurb I just heard. They never mention all the post-Citizens United ‘dark money’.
Was craving some BBQ, but the relatively new ‘Bill Miller [T donor]’ joint drove our other smalltown BBQ emporiums out of business, so I’m in for a long drive, in order to get some good ‘Q.
12I think this week I’m going to zip up to New Braunfels and stop at Naegelins Bakery and Granzins BBQ.
Hint, for those of you unfortunate enough to not be in range of those places, look for a PBS Samantha Brown travelogue show about the Texas Hill Country. That episode has been running recently [rerunning, it’s probably online for you streamers]. It has a long segment on Naegelins Bakery [aaaiiieee, I’m driving myself crazy even thinking of it, I used to go there daily…drooool].
The apathetic, lackadaisical, generally non-voting people out there are not single issue folks.
If they were, the above descriptors wouldn’t apply.
We do need candidates who can excite liberal voters.
We also need candidates who can attract folks who are still listening.
Because if we can get people to ACTUALLY LISTEN, to the truth, instead of the propaganda,
we might have a shot
