Find Them! Now!
New CNN polling shows that almost 7 in 10 say the federal government is doing a bad job of governing, including 43% who say it’s the worst job of governing in their lifetimes.
“That’s about double the share who said the same in early 1996 (21%) following a government shutdown that was the longest on record until last month. Just 19% say the federal government is doing a good job.”
Wait, wait. “Just” 19% say the federal government is doing a good job. Find those people and wake them the hell up.
Thelma thinks all 19% of the live in East Texas and are wearing MAGA hats to church.
Thelma, girl, what thous sayest!!!
1I’m sorry to say it, but Thelma is wrong. There are a bunch of ’em right here in Florida. Some young ones too. Strange that.
2What’s the polite word … we’ll just go with confused. That rarified 19% is probably confused as to what government should be and whatever the hell nightmare creation it is that constitutes Dotard45’s maladministration.
They probably don’t eat anything healthy like a salad, but we can hope for a leaf or two of E.coli lettuce on their next burger.

I live in a community of mostly retired. There’s whole bunch of nearly-deads here that wear their maga hats and had signs in their front yards in 2016. They think the government and Rump are doing a good job. Of course, that may change if Rumpie decides to crater the funds for SS and Medicare. As for me, I’m just a progressive Democrat watching this and quietly living here under the radar.
4Tangentially ‘on topic’:
I found what looks to be a very useful little device for when you’re trapped in one of those places that has ‘Faux Nooz’ blasting from a waiting room TV, and you may be surrounded by MAGAots. Like Dr or DDS offices, auto places, etc. (I tend to avoid all that)
The very small key fob device allows one to clandestinely operate almost any TV set, such as those ones mentioned above; without anyone knowing. It has a limited command set, just channel selection, volume, etc., but that’s all you need to switch the damn Fux propaganda channel off.
It appears to be very easy to sync with almost any TV set, just hold down the mute button until the TV mutes. Then you will have control…nayaheheh.
Guerrilla anti-MAGAot warfare, hell yes…
I’m going to order a couple ASAP, and try it out, then keep one on my keychain.

(no, I have no connection to Newegg, other than used to being a good customer (they snafu’ed a major order of mine ~6mo ago, then gave me a ‘customer service’ jerkaround. First time in more than a decace of trding with them, haven’t bought anything from them since)).
5Bets that if the GOP pays any attention to that poll, it will be to hold it up and say, “See, 70% of the American people think government is the problem!” without adding the “by us” part.
Republicans… they say government doesn’t work, and when they’re elected, they do everything they can to prove it doesn’t.
6Some of them live in Arizona, Utah, and California and are my relatives or my husband’s relatives.
7Geez, what did you expect from the party of “NO!”…
8You’re doing a heck of a job, Orangie.
