Dr. Flattery

February 04, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

You probably remember Ronny Jackson, the naval White House doctor who said that Trump was the healthiest president ever, with the most mental health ever, and the lowest cholesterol ever recorded in a human being. Immediately thereafter, Trump nominated Jackson to be a cabinet member as Veterans Affairs Secretary.

And immediately after that, it was revealed that Jackson did in fact know a whole lot about affairs, but not in the good way. Jackson faced a series of allegations including drinking on the job, overprescribing medications and creating a hostile work environment. Those allegations are still being investigated.

And now

President Trump has re-nominated White House doctor Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson to be promoted to two-star admiral amid the Pentagon’s ongoing investigation into Jackson regarding alleged misconduct.

And yesterday Trump “named Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson as chief medical adviser and assistant to the president.”

Guess who has his next medical exam this Friday?  Guess who wants to be a known as a man who keeps his word if you’ll lie for him?

Thanks to Carl for the heads up.

  1. Sounds like Dr. Jackson would be a strong candidate for head of the CDC, at least in Mango Mussolini’s administration. CDC currently estimates that 40% of American adults are obese (that is, body mass index of 30 or greater.) But all we have to do to eliminate obesity is put Dr. J in charge of weighing and measuring Americans – poof! And he may well have the secret to eliminating cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s, too!

  2. Really, Ronny! Have you no shame?

  3. Doesn’t the AMA ever comment on this? How could any legitimate Dr. sign off on a document that’s a fraud?

So what’s Rumpie hiding? A social disease or worse, perhaps?

Question for “Doctor” Ronny: when syphilis goes tertiary and hits the brain, is it still syphilis? Not asking for a friend; asking about the pResident.

  5. tRump’s cognitive abilities are only rivaled by Ronald Reagan’s during his last days in office when he was suffering from Alzheimer disease.

tRump is so far out- of- touch with reality as to almost be laughable were it not so terrifying in the possibilities and realities of what he is doing.

As far as doctors signing off on fraudulent documents with respect to trump, the line gets longer every day.

  6. Buttermilk Sky says:

What is Dr. Ronny’s position on vaccination? Never mind, forget I asked.

Could he be Trump’s (alleged) Adderall connection? Never mind again.

  7. Okay, speaking as cynically as possible, do we really want Trump’s doctor to know what the flack he’s doing?

  8. Jane & PKM says:

Rhea, before answering, where does cynically for a doctor fall on the spectrum before plausible deniability and non compos mentis?

  9. That Other Jean says:

Chief medical advisor and assistant to the President? Ronny Jackson? Sounds about as competent as Trump’s other appointees, in this least competent of all administrations.

  10. Given that the services have a finite number of openings at each rank, giving this spare a second star will prevent (at least) one otherwise deserving naval officer from receiving a second star when one is merited. If anyone in the naval service ever deserved six, six, and a kick it IS Ronny.

  11. Donny can make anybody his doctor but the Senate will have to approve his military promotion. Hopefully Cheezy Chuck can stop that.
