Okay, I think he means that you can’t indict a president while he’s in office (which ain’t anywhere in the Constitution) but you’d have to impeach him first and then indict him. Okay, so what if the president controls both houses of congress and the Supreme Court? Does he automatically become Joseph Stalin?
If you have a president who the House won’t impeach, you’ve got a President who can dress like the Terminator, kill all the Democrats in the country for 8 years and then pardon himself the day before his terms ends.

1I cannot comment anymore . who does trump think he is? there is no Lese-Mageste rule here. trump is not above the law and we can say nasty things and/or comment on his behavior. trump and all his people are just awful , how can they get up every morning and look in the mirror and feel good about themselves? The talk about trump being able to pardon himself is disgusting. I am sure the Framers of the Constitution did NOT have this in mind. Sometimes ( all the time) I feel so bad, sad and embarrassed for this country.

The verbiage usually goes something like this” if he tries, it will create an instantaneous constitutional crisis of unheard of magnitude.” In other words, he would be cutting his own throat. But I safety unto you, he is just crazy enough to do this and bleed all over his inane self. And in public, too!
