Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Ba-da boom! Number 8 does it for me. This Niger operation really did come as a complete surprise to a lot of people on the Hill, especially the ones who felt – after the fact – that they really should have known before the fact.
1# 8…the Commander in Chief should know everything , imagine saying he never “signed off ‘ on that. The prisons are full of executives and mayors who said they were unaware. That’s the RICO act I think. He will always take the credit but none of the blame! The buck stops here trump with you.
2What is it with the snacilbupeR and their wolverine attachment to failed zombie programs such as Trickle Down? Now the Three Note Dope wants to dust off Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” failure to deal with the opioid epidemic.
Those cagey science deniers sure do love Einstein’s Law of Insanity.
3The cartoons from other countries are chilling.
4Speaking of chilling-we had our first dusting of snow in the great white Northwest of iowa today.
5Once again the cartoonists say things so well. Sigh. Traitor trump destroys everything he touches, rather like a reverse Midas touch. No wonder neither he or anyone near him has a soul, or morals.
6I’ve just about quit watching the NFL, but there was usually an announcer acknowledgment of our troops watching in 187 countries, or whatever the huge number was. It seemed to leave out only about four countries– maybe Russia, China, North Korea, and I don’t know what. Not Cuba, because of Guantanamo. Maybe six or eight, but I think not more than that.
Many people, including here, say that America interferes too much in other countries. But when anything goes wrong, like the Rohingya expulsion from Burma, people–possibly some of the same people– yell, “Why isn’t America doing something?” It always seems to be down to us to do something.
7There was *NO* way I could’ve envisioned a POTUS worse than W in my lifetime. Certainly not to the extent I could “miss” him.
And then Don the Con was elected.
The people that elected him simply couldn’t envision what might happen when the federal government was dismantled. For that we thank Murdoch and Co.
Could Putin have truly envisioned how badly 45 would damage our country? Partisanship is the root of our evils…
8The cookie jars and the kochie bros. Yup.
9Ah, yes, you saved the best for last.
