  1. Whatever the Mangled Apricot Hellbeast said he’d pay Crummy, it’s not enough. Besides, he won’t pay him anyway. Hillary needs to fire Crummy’s disgusting, traitorous ass January 21st.

    1
  2. As Kellyanne Conartist said the other day, “The damage is done.” I only hope that this comes in enough time to do any good for Hillary. At the very least we won’t have to hold our breath any longer while waiting for the other shoe to drop.

  3. Don A in Pennsyltucky says:

The first investigation showed that there isn’t any “there” to be found. This just awarded Comey the Maxwell Smart trophy.

    3
  4. Don A, I thought it was the “Gilligan”. Or was it the “Gomer”?

    4
  5. Debbo, how about the “Gohmert”?

This reminds me of the times when they find out who started the fire that burned twenty thousand of acres of forest and two dozen homes. There is no punishment appropriate for the damage caused. And this time it was deliberate.

    5
  6. Polite Kool Marxist says:

With a H/T and thank you to LynnN, have been having great fun with @KellyannePolls.

Now thanks to Comey, I’ll just sit back and wait for Kellyanne to explain how in the last few days with Beyonce, JayZ, Katy Perry, Lebron James and so many appearing with Hilz just how is it that the Clinton Campaign has been on defense.

@KellyannePolls Donnie 0, Hannibal Lector 2. Keep pointing his jet in that nosedive, campaign manager Starling.

    6
  7. Primo Encarnación says:

    !GNOD !GNOD !GNOD

    nope, can’t unring THAT bell.

    7
  8. Speaking of Kellyanne, who looks like this campaign took 30 years out of her life, she’s trying to spin the ruckus at the campaign as an assassination attempt. Jake Tapper on CNN was having none of that BS.

In fact, the guy was a snacilbupeR who was supporting Hillary and, as usual for a Mangled Apricot Hellbeast rally, his supporters were beating the guy up.

In trumpworld, that’s an assassination attempt. By that definition, there have been many attempts. Sigh. Whiners gonna whine.

  9. JAKvirginia says:

Sharpen your knives folks. There’s a heap a whoopass due on Nov.9! And for the next 4 years. If ANY Dem tries to be in ANY way conciliatory to this shitheap THEY can count the days they have left in office. We have not been amused!!

    9
  10. e platypus onion says:

Conway admitted that they pretty much knew that HRC wasn’t in trouble, but the damage was done to her campaign, that was the important thing.

Former Blackwater thug and dumbass dubya/Cheney buddy Eric Prince swears the NYPD is ready to make several arrests in the Weiner case because they just know 5 or 6 foreign agencies hacked HRC’s emails. I guess someone forgot to tell them the case is being handled by the FBI who has jurisdiction over the case since it involves federal employees.

    10
  11. Maxwell Smart, Gomer, Gilligan…

Maybe even the Sgt Schultz award, for saying he “knows nothing, NOTHING” so late in the game. It would have the added distinction of making him a (dis)honorable Nazi too.

    11
  12. AliceBeth says:

I am hoping there is something “there”….for Comey, hearings, investigations, indictments and some time in a small room alone to contemplate the error of his ways.

    12
  13. The check will bounce

    13
  14. What JAKvirginia said.

    14
  15. I assume KellyAnne Conway took her job with her eyes open, but I can’t help feeling sorry for her. She looks like something is eating her soul from the inside out.

    15
  16. I’m with AliceBeth.

    16
  17. Fire his butt on November 9th. Then launch an investigation into those other schmucks from the New York office. Heads need to roll here.

    17
  18. RepubAnon says:

It’s definitely half-past time to let the Republicans know that actions have consequences. I’d say an investigation into George W’s Administration’s use of the RNC server and loss of 20+ million e-mails needs a formal investigation as well.

Will the media types grasp their pearls and moan about how the Democrats are politicizing these issues? Of course – but the Democrats need to point out that they’re merely following the Republicans’ lead. We can no longer let Republicans act in this manner with impunity.

    18
  19. I don’t think he made a smart career move when he started this thing.

    19
  20. Sandridge says:

Vonda N. McIntyre, NO NO NO! Do not feel sorry for Kellyanne Conwipe.

Ms. Kellyanne has effen been ratfu**ing Democrats for more than twenty five years. She has enjoyed every g’damned minute of it, and makes beaucoup buck$ doing it. Conwipe is a skilled propagandist and slimy PR witch; a slimmed down, emaciated female Joseph Goebbels, doing the work of multitudinous devils.
If something is eating away at her insides, may it be one of those tropical flesh-eating worms, working away very slowly.

  21. Annabelle Lee says:

I’m hearing rumors of a rogue group of FBI agents who hate Mrs. Clinton. I wonder whether they, assuming they do exist, have something juicy on Comey.

The fact that anyone in law enforcement thinks Trump would be a better President fills my heart with ice.

    21
  22. e platypus onion says:

They do exist. It is the New York office of the FBI going rogue. Many are friends of Screwdy Rudy Guiliani and have been passing tips to both Rudy (and Drumpf campaign) and Fake Noize. They were/are unhappy that no charges were filed against HRC. They started this investigation into Weiner’s emails based on the panned book “Clinton Cash” and the Justice Department told them to forget about the investigation. They did not follow orders.

    22
  23. RE: the novel Clinton Cash

All you need to know is that its author is Peter Schweizer, who is also connected to hedge fund CEO and nacilbupeR billionaire enable Robert Mercer, via Breitbart, serving as Breitbart’s “Senior Editor-at-Large”, whatever that means.

    23
  24. I agree with Vonda about Kellyanne. Well, you dance with the devil, you pay the piper.

And I also agree that some FBI heads should roll over this.

    24
  25. Wapo has taken pity on us by offering this sweet video. Seriously, I mean sweet. It’s kittens. De-stress here:

  26. @Sandridge

I don’t disagree with your characterization of Kellyanne Conway enjoying her work overmuch and making a sinful amount of money from same. However I would point out that her clients have included Jack Kemp, Fred Thompson, Dan Quayle, Newtie, and Mike Pence. Not exactly the political winners’ hall of fame. And having snacilbupeR spending their money on political hacks like Kellyanne who over-promise and under-deliver makes me happy in a perverse way

That said, I opine that Darth Drumpf will probably not pay her bill and Mike Pence’s political career will be over late on the evening of November 8th, 2016. Maybe Mickie D’s is hiring. Pence needs a spell of honest work to get his head straight so as to endure the remainder of his life

    26
  27. Way too little, way too late.

Sorry, should have given context – the link is to a Michael Moore movie regarding Trump and Clinton. Very well done.

    29
  30. The good news is Al Franken is on the Judiciary Committee and has already promised to get to the bottom of this. I have complete faith that he will.

    30
  31. e platypus onion says:

RNC Chairman Freebus was on with Stephanopoulos this morning claiming to know that some of Weiner’s emails were not duplicative. That information was never made public so he had to have a leaker in the FBI which proves, once again, that they were coordinating to give the election to Drumpf.

Dems Conyers and Lewis have asked the Justice Dept for an investigation. Wingnuts in congress will probably threaten to withhold federal funds if the investigation goes forward.

    31
  32. Sandridge says:

Micr, right, Kellyanne’s a regular ‘Typhoon Kelly’, reverse-Midas touch, kiss of death albatross around their lyin’ necks. As far as the remainder of their lives, may they be short and brutal.

Be nice if a total torpedoing of T-Raunch takes both Kellyanne and her vile master to the bottom forever.
If HRC has a landslide Tuesday.
If not, the hyenas will be yipping for the next x years. If we don’t see an all out civil war-multiple assassination attempts-military coups-pick your poison.
The deluded minions aren’t going down without a fight of some kind, they are too far gone now, just watching most of those nooz ‘R person on the street’ TV interviews reveals stupendous ignorance, fear, and loathing beyond rationality (which is now mutual AFAIC) .

As much as I hate to say it, the likely Madame President Hillary Clinton needs to conduct a solid Turkish type purge of the federal government, to rid OUR government of the legions of Cheney-Bush moles that Obama never saw fit to replace because of his mythical mirage of “bipartisanship Shangri-La”.
Which was never even remotely possible with today’s Repukes. I hope everybody now sees it, Comey being a prime example among thousands of others; with a special emphasis on the FBI.

    32
  33. Ah, sorry I couldn’t find it again, but there is an interesting article (somewhere) about what might be *possible* to check in the short time from the first to the second Comey letters. In short, if one is looking for known duplicates, and possibly has a hundred agents at one’s disposal, it is well within possibility to make an adequate investigation.

Speaking of which, I read that Rep. King has somehow gotten a hold of a complete copy set of Wiener’s 650,000 emails?! How does something like that occur without Weiner’s consent?

    33
  34. Yep. After NINE DAYS of inserting itself into the election, the FBI says, “Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.”

Clinton will win. She would have won if Comey hadn’t issued the retraction letter. That was a given. What Comey DID manage to do was lose some seats in the House for the Democrats. And lose seats in the Senate — possibly maintaining the majority for the Republicans. And lessen the number of states Clinton won by — weakening the mandate she would have been able to claim.

He did enormous damage to the FBI, to the establishment generally and, certainly not least, to the country.
But hey, Newt got to go on TV and denounce Comey. And Trump got some more talking points to yammer about. So I guess they got part of what they wanted anyway.

And here’s the worst of it: if Obama or Clinton or Loretta Lynch were to order an investigation into the people who so blatantly tried to throw the election, the partisans would be able to claim partisanship against the people they tried to harm THROUGH THEIR OWN PARTISANSHIP. It’s a win/win for the partisans and a lose/lose for justice.

    34
  35. Hmmm – Two Crows if Comey were to confess or there were some recordings to release (ala what happened to Mittens), that would help. All the scurrying to cover asses on the R side could not be concealed.

    35
  36. @Sandridge

Ah Sandridge… I too have studied Hobbes. My friend and some times martial arts instructor has as well. He advertises at his dojo that he teaches Pekiti-Tirsia Kali in the “Hobbesian” tradition.

    Vonda N. Mc –

Whatever’s eating KellyAnne’s soul won’t get much of a meal – just a snack. I’m thinking it’s like a 5-year-old piece of turkey jerky that somebody forgot about at the bottom of the jar. You know, the kind of stuff that even rats reject.

    41
  39. e platypus onion says:

Al Franken wants to investigate the investigators at the FBI for politicizing their investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails. I wonder what they’ll find from the people whose job it was to find things that nobody else could find seeing as how we found that they had invented the findings they thought they found.

  41. @Micr,
Hobbesian Trap or Hobson’s Choice? Like Uncle Henry said: “Any color you want, as long as it’s black”…
And little Hobson, TX is just up the road a bit, site of an ISR uranium processing plant and not much else (it actually produces yellowcake, unlike Saddam’s non-existent African ones).
