Fun With Guns: Maybe He Was a Muslim Edition
Thank you, Sweet Jesus.
A man accidentally shot himself in the arm at a “Muslim-free” gun range in Oklahoma.
A volunteer group of gun lovers and veterans has been standing guard outside Save Yourself Survival and Tactical Gear in Oktaha after the business owners sent out a Facebook alert claiming they received death threats over their ban on Muslim customers.
The sheriff is not impressed. I suspect that he might be a tad concerned because there’s a convenience store across the highway where innocent people minding their own damn business are likely to be accidentally shot.
“I saw several of those gentlemen out there yesterday,” said Sheriff Charles Pearson. “The way they were holding their weapons, with the fingers on the triggers, you can tell a couple of these gentlemen have no idea about weapons safety. It’s like the Clampetts have come to town.”
It’s nice to know that somebody in Oklahoma has some damn sense.

4It’s been many decades since I watched “The Beverly Hillbillies,” but I don’t remember any crazy people on the verge of shooting innocent people on that show. Unless the sheriff is talking about some other Clampetts, I think he should apologize. And look up the meaning of the word “gentlemen.”
And once again, let’s imagine if a gang (and what else am I looking at?) of black men were standing around with powerful guns and their fingers on the triggers….
5Rhea, there’s no need to imagine. When that right wing pedestal pooch Reagan was governor of California, he was for gun laws before he was against them. His ‘reason’ was because black men were carrying. That scared him.

It is in Muskogee County, East OK, so maybe the whacko ammosekshuuls travel to it from all around.
Kind of doubt there are actually too many ‘Mooslums’ within a hundred miles of the place though.

Our friends who commented earlier are right – the Sheriff’s comment is an insult to the Clampetts and their ability to handle firearms.
