That NRA Guy and Me
Wayne LaPierre, that NRA guy, is plenty damn upset.
No, seriously, he said that in a speech.
So that’s what minorities and women are now? Demographically symbolic? Is that close to being a human?
You know what? I wish he would just go ahead and say the N word or the B word. You know he wants to so badly and that’s why he’s making up other words to say it.
Wayne! Guy! Give it a rest. Hang it on the wall and fill it with buckshot, Honey, because you are edging into that crazy old white man symbolic.
He can kiss my big symbolic butt.
Oh good gracious Lord! Does this guy ever need meds!
1That Wayne is symbolically a racist misogynist has no bearing on his basic stupidity. Of course Wayne’s ability to make the NRA (weapons manufacturer’s lobbyist extraordinaire) —seem even more evil than they need to be is sadly not so shocking.
2Yeah, ’cause 42 aging white men just isn’t enough. We need another one in order to achieve balance.
3Wayne’s displeasure is just one more reason to hope for a Clinton win. The icing on the cake, as it were.
4Linguistically speaking the translation of Wayne’s surname is also his honorary Cajun name, Little Dick.
5PKM
6Google translate says “stone”. But in the same neighborhood so either way works for me.
He doesn’t like a president who thinks women should get paid as much as men for the same work? He doesn’t care that homelessness and joblessness are growing by leaps and bounds? I think the road to the White House and any other high office should literally go through all the homeless shelter areas and stop to spend the night.
7LaPeePee is very constitutionally attuned-it says 8 years of one President is all she wrote, unless he/she fills a term for one and then he/she is limited to one full term after that.
As far as the rest of the constitution goes,he don’t know shiite from shinola.
8With the NRA banning guns at their convention, I wonder how many of their members realize Wayne LaPierre has done more to restrict gun use than Obama has?
Here’s what I like to think of as a demographically symbolic quote:
9“I’ll give you my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.”
[Hand up] Excuse me? Can someone please let me know how women are demographically symbolic when there are more of us than there are of them? (50.9%/49.1% per the 2010 census http://www.census.gov/prod/cen2010/briefs/c2010br-03.pdf)
He oughta be more afraid of the Hispanic contingent (16.4% vs 12.3% black), too. They are the largest growing group. If they ever stand up and vote, there’ll be a lot more Latinos in office (and I’m not talking about Cruz).
10Thank You SusanF! I made exactly that point to my numerically superior (among other superiorities) wife when she read me LaPierre’s idiotic remarks yesterday.
Mathematically, every old, white, straight Christian male we elect is a minority. And thank whatever deity or totem you have that it is a rapidly SHRINKING minority.
They have a name for it when a minority of old white straight Christian males dominate the politics, power and wealth of a nation, and dictate the rights and privileges of members of the majority.
It’s called apartheid.
11Micr, we could run Wayne through the Dan Savage Translator or the Urban Dictionary. But, it’s only Monday and way too early in the week to think we could outrun Miss Juanita Jean and Mama. Friday is a long time away, and I don’t want to look like Marco Rubio, while guzzling sports drinks with a bar of soap wedged in my mouth.
SusanF electing one more privileged old white guy to run things is insane. Like “Trickle Down” economics, it has been tried and tried, and it doesn’t work. Way past time that our politics reflects the well known fact that women are the peacemakers, the conciliators and the ones who “get it done.” Arguably, the last great president was FDR and, I think I know why. In a word, Eleanor. 21st Century politics requires that the strong woman behind the man step forward to take her place in the lead. Let the bitch slapping begin!
12La pee pee’s only concern with women and demographics is 32s,36s,38s,38 Specials(DD),44s and every boob above a 44 fits into the belted Magnum category.
Rumour has it real men that like guns don’t like having their guns measured with micrometers in fractions of inches.
13Pierre = Peter (from Petros, Greek for stone) as in “Simon, thou art Peter, for upon this rock I will build my Church.”
Either way, he’s a tool.
14PKM, and let’s not forget his Mama, either. She was formidable and formative. And Missy LeHand and Lucy Mercer Rutherford.
15People like LaPierre shouldn’t use words they can’t define.
16Put it back in your holster, LaPew, you’re shootin’ blanks.
17At least he didn’t call him an “affirmative action president,” although that’s probably just because that insult isn’t transferable to a woman.
18“Demographically symbolic”? If I’m reading it right, that would essentially translate into “minority figurehead.” Figurehead–as in non-accomplishing, right? BS!
Once again it is the message that President Obama is not a real president. With the tag that (if she wins) President Clinton would not be a real president either–just a figurehead.
I’m tired of the disrespect. I’m tired of the partisan tribal extremes. Let me finish in true Southern style: I am just Sick and Tired of these windbags getting so much air time!
19A American Legion member, retired deputy sheriff and claims to be an “ordained minister” wants the “ni@@@r in the White House assassinated! Nice huh the respect given to our President! Peace Wally
