Damn If He Does, Damner If He Doesn’t

December 23, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Okay, we all know that President Obama is a Muslim.  Maybe secretly, maybe in the open.

But, here’s a new theory.

F000448Congressidiot Trent Frank of Arizona wonders why Islamic extremists haven’t murdered Obama since that’s what they have vowed to do if someone turns from Islam to Christianity.  Well, there you go.  See, he’s not dead and that’s pretty good proof that he’s a Muslim.

But, the best is yet to come.

He went on to argue that Obama’s Christian faith is further proof that he’s a Muslim, explaining that he can still be a Muslim while he identifies as a Christian. Spencer added: “Whatever his personal beliefs are, certainly if he were a secret Muslim, he wouldn’t be acting any differently from how he is anyway.”

Well hell, that means all Christians are secret Muslims and you know that because they are … Christians?

My head hurts.

Tell me, how does one “act like a Muslim?”  Live like a Christian?

Thanks to TexasTrailerParkTrash for the heads up.

  1. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Remember Jeremiah Alvesta Wright, Jr., now the Pastor Emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC), in Chicago where President Obama attended church? That was the Cluster Fox scandal of the day for days. There we have it, he attends the wrong church and he’s a Muslim. Again, he attended a church, not a mosque, and he’s a Muslim. And long ago in Kenya a plot was launched.

The Fantasy News Network destroys all neurological paths leading to logic.

  2. Betty @ Georgetown says:

Trent Frank is obviously a Muslim (not that there’s anything wrong with that) trying to cover his tracks.

  4. And you can still be a bigot while you identify yourself as a Christian, Spencer.

Bow down to Mecca 5 times a day and screw the poor?

  6. I hate to bring this up, but Christianity and Islam both spring from Judaism and have pretty much the same rules for life (and I’m a Christian, in case you forgot): be modest, be generous to the poor, be good neighbors, treat immigrants well, play fair, all that stuff. Oh, and Muslims pray five times a day. Christians are supposed to pray without ceasing. Is this a competition or something? I know if I were President I’d hardly have time to think about anything else without praying; it’s bound to be scary up there.

  7. Marcia in CO says:

The only thing that really matters is the fact that Barack Obama and Michelle and the girls know how they believe and who it is they believe in and who it is their faith is based on and it sure as heck isn’t some ignorant RWNJ in Arizona.

  8. Correction: Judaism, Christianity and Islam all come from descendants of Abraham. Now i really gotta go finish wrapping all the December 25th, or January 6, depending on which end of the holiday you celebrate, gifts, since nobody’s supposed to get in a fight over Christmas.

  9. Lorraine in Spring says:

If Trent Frank spent more time acting like Jesus & less time accusing others of lying, he’d probably enjoy the CHRISTmas season a bit more.

Go to church Trent. You might learn something.

  10. “Whatever his personal beliefs are, certainly if Trent Frank were an idiot, he wouldn’t be acting any differently from how he is anyway.”

    To paraphrase Trent Frank

    11
  11. Remember that time he had a beer??? Well, Muslims are forbidden to drink. Or is that part of the secret??

    12
  12. Rationality is out of the question here, but he even stinks at rationalization.

    13
  13. So they grow ’em just as stoopid and crazy in Arizona.

    14
  14. Every time I think these morons can’t possibly get any more stupid, they prove me wrong. It’s kind of breathtaking in a sad way. Even more breathtaking that people actually vote for these jackwagons.

    15
  15. Recent column in The Guardian (British newspaper) said that the difference between British and American politics now is that the major British parties have been getting closer together and saying, “Vote for me– I’m not crazy.” In the US they’ve been getting farther apart, and the GOP message is definitely, “Vote for me– I’m crazy!”

Why this is a winning strategy I’d like someone to explain, but if I understood it I’d probably go insane myself.

  17. Marge Wood says:

While I have you here, I’m gonna mention something. Saturday , amongst a bunch of Dems, somebody mentioned that it’s illegal to have a private bank. From what I hear, the Kochs have a private bank. Is that what you hear? Now back to Trent Frank. I hope he doesn’t truly represent his constituents.

    18
  18. Hmmmm, Marge! Well, there are banks and there are banks. The Ford Motor Company turned the government down when offered help not that long ago. They had their own bank, the Ford Foundation. GM and Chrysler did not, took the government $$ and eventually paid us back. A bank can also be labeled an investment company or even a trust, all of which are private. Consequently the K(r)och Brothers can get away with all sorts of skullduggery. And yes I think there is someone among Frank’s constituents who is not anywhere nearly as crazy as the others.

    19
  19. “GM and Chrysler did not, took the government $$ and eventually paid us back.”

GM was just a tad short – by about $10 billion. To the credit of some, though, when you are robbing the middle class, that ain’t all that much for those who already have 99% of the wealth in this country

    20
  20. Trent Frank is, indeed, an idiot. We rent him out to other states when they get tired of writing about their own idiots. The income from that is allocated to infrastructure improvements, education, and wrinkle cream for our “Accidental” Governor.

    21
  21. The one thing that Obama’s track record has shown is that he got the rePuke-ian ACA approved and going. He has given in to the re_puke-ians so may times that I think he is the best re_puke-ian the Democrats put into office. The only reason the re-PUKE-iens complain is to make you think he aint on their side.

    22
  22. I am not clear how these guys think they can determine who is and is not Muslim.

  23. e platypus onion says:

Wingnuts believe you cut people’s heads off if you are a Muslim and if you are a wingnut christian, you are perfect and when less than perfect you can always claim your god and wife forgave you,so there. Nyah, nyah, nyah!

  24. Corinne Sabo says:

I’m Catholic. What do I act like? Most people just think I’m crazy.

    25
  25. This reminds me of the Illuminatus Trilogy’s segment where someone is taught to see the fnords. They think they’re going to see hitherto invisible monsters – what they see is the word “fnord” printed after certain people’s names, or beliefs. They then remember that they’ve been conditioned to hate and fear the word “fnord.”

In the real world, Republicans use the words “Muslim” or “Socialist” – but the principle’s the same. Link one’s opponent to the scary, distrusted word and watch the feelings about the word get subconsciously transferred to one’s opponent.

    26
  26. This is the identical logic that allowed people to go on quoting the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” long after it was proven to be a hoax. “Well, wherever it originated, it exactly describes the behavior of the Jews (i.e. sinister plotting for total world domination) and therefore can still be used as a reliable source for what they plan to do.” If you’ve made up your mind to hate someone, and you need an epithet that isn’t the N-word, then the M-word will do and the reason for using it is, well, you hate him and you hate Muslims, so what’s to explain?
