More Proof That It’s About Arithmetic

February 15, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Fox News.

While going full blast about how pre-school is just another free government program, you know, like public education, they put this on the public televise waves.  The reason President Obama wants preschool?

Steve Doocy and Stuart Varney were talking at each other and I guess neither one of them realized that Barack Obama probably is not going to be running for President in 15 years.  There was obviously something lacking in Doochy’s and Varney’s education.  Like, maybe, PRE-SCHOOL!

Okay, okay, I’ll quit bellowin’ and hollerin’.  I’m calm.  I’m calm.

I just need somebody to send a abacus over to Fox News.

Be social and share!

  1. Seriously? An abacus? You know they’ll just hurt themselves trying to figure it out.. dang newfangled figurin’ devices and such!

  2. I saw that earlier – but truly, Douchey and Varney are NOT bright enough to know that President Obama will not be running – they really are that dayum dumb and I have archivedemails from Douchey to prove it, like the day he DEMANDED that I send him my boss’s name and telephone number so he could report me for being emailing him during work hours, ISTG~

  3. Douchey – what a perfect name. Varney rhymes with Barney so I guess they must be first cousins.

I guess it’s not enough like “No Child Left Behind”. Maybe that’s why the Faux Nooz people have their hair on fire (personally, I think it’s because the current President and the White House don’t match inside their heads).

  5. Everyone knows that Obama is setting himself up as dictator for life in the soon to be United Socialist States of America. This will, of course, endear these children to him.

At least, from what I can tell, that is seriously what the right fringes believe.

  6. Corinne Sabo says:

I never talked with a 4 year old abou how that child would vote as an adult. Am I missing something? Like, maybe I do have a brain and they don’t?

  7. Marge Wood says:

You gonna send someone to Fox News along with the abacus so somebody can explain how they work?

  8. The idea that Obama is “handing out the goodies” is more of the Republicans talking in code. On my drive home last night NPR interviewed Rand Paul about his response to the State of the Union speech, and Paul repeated exactly the same thing, that Obama is giving free stuff to people. And let’s be clear, by people he means minorities. They wrote the book on “How to be Rascist Without Talking like a Rascist.”

Good God. Those people (and I use the term loosely), are idiots. Do they know nothing about educational research? NPR ran a very interesting program a few months ago about what employers are missing in the incoming class of employees.

It isn’t anything one learns in college (which burst my 2-graduate-degrees balloon). It was the stuff one learns in preschool.

OK, I did not say this information was coming from Left Wing Politicians. It is coming from business owners (Republicans ostensibly love these).

These employers say that employees need Pre-K skills like the ability to cooperate, the ability to check your temper when you don’t get your way, etc. And studies show it’s too late if one waits to learn these things in college – or even in elementary school. Ya gotta pick this stuff up when you’re about 4, or you’re gonna have trouble in the job market (unless you are Donald Trump, who leads the charge for uncooperative temper tantrums)

But then, the conservative catfish (my Daddy’s term for all mouth and no head) have never had a love for facts, have they?

  10. An abacus would be too technologically advanced for these guys. They should just be advised to take off their shoes.

Amazingly, Oklahoma has a genuinely excellent Pre-K program. To totally disarm the wingnuttery, keep refering to it as the “Oklahoma model.”

  12. I have a friend who refuses to frequent a restaurant who has Faux News playing on their TV for the customers, much to the chagrin of her grandson, I hear, when he wants pizza, or whatever cuisine the particular situation presents. Bravo.

  13. This stubborn obstructionism ranks right up there with the Repugs who, despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, insist that there are 2 sides to global warming, that creationism is a valid theory, that providing government assistance to the old, poor and ill is “big” government etc.
Science, math and reality have no affect on these people. They will not assist President Obama in creating a successful America, because he is black and a Democrat and they want him (the country be damned) to fail.
No amount of common sense will help. We have to have a liberal landside in the midterms.
