When nobody was looking, I semi-purposefully got myself elected to the Texas State Democratic Executive Committee.  There were a couple of times at my first meeting today, early on, that I wanted to get up and walk out, but this was not one of them.

The funniest man in Texas, Jim Hightower, came to talk about Texas politics in general and Rick Perry in particular.

I used my iPhone to take a movie and it will only let me put up 30 seconds at a time.
