Jim Hightower
When nobody was looking, I semi-purposefully got myself elected to the Texas State Democratic Executive Committee. There were a couple of times at my first meeting today, early on, that I wanted to get up and walk out, but this was not one of them.
The funniest man in Texas, Jim Hightower, came to talk about Texas politics in general and Rick Perry in particular.
I used my iPhone to take a movie and it will only let me put up 30 seconds at a time.

Hey, that was a treat, he’s truly funny! Can’t wait to see a full speech from him. I think JJ you’re close to genius just to give us the 2-30sec clips (I don’t mess with anything but a landline phone & my Kid Sis has to totally control the tivo/remote controls).

11JJ…. my antique PC is telling me I don’t have the required Quick something or other to be able to access your iPhone thing-a-ma-bob. So, I’ll just have to look for a transcript someplace. I’m sure I’ll find it somewhere. I’ll check Hightower’s website also.
@Sgt.Mike…… if you can get a local Pacifica station around where you are, I think they still broadcast Jim Hightower, at least once a day, I’ve heard him in my car, and my car radio is locked on Pacifica. Around here it’s 90.1 on the FM dial. Amy Goodman in the morning and some other interesting stuff all the rest of the day.
12Exactly what I was going to ask, PDiddie. I still subscribe to his newsletter, but I don’t forgive him. What I’d really like to know is WHY???? I thought he was supposed to be reasonably intelligent…..
