Confused

Here’s the part I am confused about.

A man who is under investigation for selling the United States Presidential election to Russia is bragging that he is keeping another man from getting a job because the other man protested by not putting his hand over his heart at the national anthem.

See, I don’t get that.  Where the hell is the rhyme or reason to that?

President Trump patted himself on the back Monday night for allegedly helping to keep former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick unemployed.

Yeah, he literally said his uncontrollable bully tweet habit is keeping Kaepernick unemployed.

“It was reported that NFL owners don’t want to pick him up because they don’t want to get a nasty tweet from Donald Trump,” Trump said. “Do you believe that? I just saw that. I just saw that.”

The President of the United States is a lying tweet bully.

Ya know, Trump has accomplished nothing.  He’s under FBI investigation, he has insulted every world leader whose name he can pronounce, his health care bill is flopping around gasping like a fish on land, and his budget is DOA.  But, he’s keep Colin Kaepernick unemployed!  There’s that.

Let me tell you something.  I would rather have Colin Kaepernick for president.  At least Kaepernick has a core set of values.

    Trump seems to enjoy throwing people out of work.

    When teams get down to choosing backup quarterbacks, he’ll find a job. I respect his actions and think they shined a spotlight on a part of our past many would like to forget.

    Notice that POS45 didn’t mention to his Neanderthal supporters in KY that they would be losing their healthcare?

  2. Lordy, I am grateful that I ate a nice breakfast far enough back that it won’t suddenly reappear in my craw! The Keep Kaepernick Unemployed jive is now resting in my personal mental file labeled “Molten Lava” along with a story on the front page of the WaPo social portion of that paper. For some unearthly reason there is a huge story about a local family with five daughters who actually voted for the pussy grabber in chief. Gotta ask. If in future a daughter comes home complaining of being rudely manhandled by somebody at a social function, would these so-called parents jump on her first and demand to know what she did to provoke such behavior? I am at a point where I do not accept the fact that the rest of the world is wondering what we ever did to provoke a Trump presidency! At least half the globe has to ask themselves the same question about some of their previous leaders, at the very least.That family and the rest of the world needs to examine their conscience. World and family, its not such a damn puzzle. Brutality got him to the Oval Office. I need some fresh air!!!!

    Speaking of unemployed, 45’s budget would only allow employment for the military. Sorry kids, we don’t need any more teachers, caregivers, medical staff in your rural hospital because it will be closed down, scientists, researchers, social workers, diplomats, travel agents (no one coming in, no one will want us going out, besides we won’t have enough passport office workers), I could go on and on…disgusting.

  8. Don’t get me wrong we need ( have) a strong military. What what is that old quip…in an ideal world , the military had would hold bake sale instead of teachers. I know this is not an ideal world will never be. But we have a very strong military just ask them, oh yes trump’ knows more that the Generals’ We need teachers and my goodness, scientist and grants for medical research. Don’t you just want to shout, ‘what the @#%^ is going on everyday.

    This past Sunday I attended a concert by the Army Field Band and Soldier’s Chorus. I know one of the singers. It was a very good and very patriotic concert. When they played the Star Spangled Banner (which I really do not like and wish America the Beautiful would take it’s place), we all stood. I noticed many who had their hands over their hearts. I did not and neither did most of the veterans around me. You put your hand over your heart during the pledge of allegiance. When did this extreme show of patriotism become a thing? He was criticized for kneeling which I always thought was pretty respectful. Damn so many are being influenced by idiots.

    That’s just more evidence that Donnie is learning challenged. Reading or reading comprehension seem to be his main challenges. If he read the Declaration Independence, which is doubtful, he certainly did not comprehend a word he read.

    “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” as concerns Colin Kaepernick, a professional football player, is fairly obvious. That Donnie the brat on twitter claims to have impacted Kaepernick’s ability to earn a living could be another lying boast by Donnie or it could be a confession by Donnie that he did seek to deny Kaepernick life, liberty and his pursuit of happiness.

    Fuhgettabout the First Amendment arguments. Donnie wouldn’t understand those either.

  13. Not to take away from how odious Trump is but I’m
    not feeling too sorry for Kaep; he didn’t vote because he said neither candidate talked about black lives matter. So, like Sarandon he threw his cause(s) under the bus. He couldn’t be bothered to do his own homework. One candidate has the KKK & neo-nazis as his main supporters and the other received an award for supporting international humanitarian rights. Gee, I wonder which one might have been convinced to support his cause or at least not make matters worse.

    @Maymoon#8- The “old” quip goes imagine a world in which teacher , and schools, got all the money they needed and the Air Force had to hold a bake sale to buy a new bomber. The “Old” part gets me. I can remember a time when that aphorism was current, of course, I’m old enough that the tractors I farmed with in high school are considered antiques, and collected by some people.It’s both tRUMP’s ego and his unfamiliarity with football that allow him to consider that he’s even partly responsible for Kaepernick’s employment status. What’s mostly keeping him on the sidelines are his limited skill set as a QB in the NFL.He’s a Tim Tebow lite, a fair-to- middlin’ running back with just enough throwing skills to keep him in contention for a QB slot.

  16. Orange Whore tweeted about this because Wapo had a sports section article yesterday about well-known players who haven’t been picked up yet. Kapernick was one of 3-4 like A. Peterson, formerly MN’s child beating runner. Now there’s a guy Orange Whore surely has No Problem with.

    You know, I just can’t get all worked up and afraid of a silly old man with a Twitter account and a bad temper. I cannot for the life of me figure out why other people are afraid of him, including organizations like the NFL, et al. That is the insanity of this presidency . . . . not that Trump is a mental, emotional, social problem but that entire corporations as well as individuals are allowing him to bully them with verbal assaults. How utterly strange.

    Standing or sitting or kneeling, hand on heart or on head or at the side . . . . it is of no utter importance. A flag is a piece of cloth with a design printed on it. I do not place my trust in a symbol. And I damned sure do not place my confidence in the men and women who are supposed to be governing this country.

    A bouquet of roses for Colin. He has courage. Stinkeeed for cockwomble. He is so delusion and stupid and uninformed he doesn’t know it takes years to get a weapons system from drawing board to prototype. Cockwomble probably thinks he can just blow them out of his obese ass. If a system is authorized under his -gag-urp- administration, he will probably be dead before a prototype even works. We have the best military around, we NEED teachers, doctors, skilled workers of all kinds. But cockwomble’s budget shows the world what a miserable bully he is. Impeach NOW!

    And he donated several tens of thousands of dollars to Meals on Wheels, which is a good and noble thing to do. HOWEVER. People who did not vote share the burden of responsibility for the current cesspool in DC with those who voted for Trump.
