While we were all watching coverage of the Coronavirus and preparing for the onslaught, Trump’s justice department was moving to drop charges against Russian backed companies indicted by Mueller for financing Russian interference in the 2016 election. Yes, that is really happening.

As if he didn’t have anything better to do, Trump has started restricting Chinese press in it’s access and reporting in the US. In retaliation, China has expelled the NY Times, Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. So. Here we are in the middle of a global pandemic where the press is THE most important outlet for information, so what does Trump do? Start a pissing contest with the largest country in the world. Jesus.
The Kaiser Health Foundation has done some polling on how Coronavirus has impacted American lives. You’ll find it interesting overall, but of course the part that interested me the most was the difference between how Democrats and Republicans are reacting.
Republicans aren’t particularly worried about themselves or their family members getting the virus. I guess because of that Magic Jesus Thing they have.
They also aren’t much worried about the economy, probably because of that Magic Trump Thing.
Most of them think they wouldn’t have any problem being tested for the virus (while we were in the middle of the big bad missing test kits).
Democrats – pretty much the opposite.

Fox News host Mark Steyn just went all gay hysteric over San Francisco telling the residents to shelter in place. He says it’s because they are all gay, gay, – sing it from the table top Judy Garland – Gaaaay
“San Francisco has just ordered everyone to shelter in place, just to say, ‘Stay in your apartment. Don’t leave your apartment unless you need to go out to a grocery store or to a pharmacy or to a doctor’s.’ Why are they doing that? Why is San Francisco the first to do that? Because they’ve got all the gay guys there.
“It’s a big gay town, San Francisco, and they’re the ones with all the compromised immune systems from all the protease inhibitors and all the other stuff. And they don’t want all the gays dropping dead on the San Francisco mayor’s watch. So that’s why they’ve got all that sheltering in place there.
He also says if they all died, they’d blame Trump instead of the mayor. What? Figure that out on your own because I’m just damn helpless.
This is also the guy who said that White Supremacists are better than illegal immigrants because at least they’re citizens.

Y’all, I just spent the better part of this morning trying to order groceries online and have them delivered. First off, I’ve done this grocery delivery stuff before to test it. I didn’t need much. Today I did.
I wander through the pages all nicely divided up where you can’t find what you want until page 12 of the canned soup section. I finally gave up and individually searched the full name of everything I wanted. Holy cow.
And, I miss my grandbaby fiercely. He did send me a virtual hug. You can have one, too.
