“US officials tell me Trump wants to wash his hands of responsibility for the Kurds,” Engel wrote on Twitter. “The US mil/gov gave Kurds REPEATED assurances of protection. US even asked Kurds to REMOVE defenses BEFORE the Turkish offensive. Kurds complied and now being displaced. WH says not our problem.”

Until Trump can raise the dead, there will be no hand washing, you know, except for the Trumpites who think Trump is being victimized.

We’ve talked about Ronna Romney McDaniels, the head person at the Republican National Committee, here at the beauty salon many times.  What the woman lacks in IQ posts, she more than make up for in lavish self-centered spending.

According to the Republican National Committee’s FEC report, all of these expenses were charged to Ronna McDaniel’s RNC credit card. That sweetie is living well on the RNC’s dime – hair and makeup stylist, limos, rent, utilities, groceries – even dry cleaning.  Quite an aggressive interpretation of what’s permitted despite the prohibition on the personal use of campaign funds.

Thanks to Jose Altuve for a walk-off homer last night, my beloved Houston Astros will face BarbinDC’s adored Nationals in the World Series.  We’ve been secretly plotting this for years.

I will accept congratulations for the fact that nobody has to put up with Yankee fans this year.

Years ago, my Aunt Lillian, who I miss every day, had two friends who went to every Astros game with her.  They were all in their 70s. They dressed up in their polyester elastic waist pants and Astros tee shirts. They had Astros earrings, purses, and socks and called the team, “My Boys.”  They got big cups of beer, complained about the price, and hid pretzels from home in their purses. I miss her every day, but I think I’ve finally grown up to be her.  I’m real proud of that and I know she would be, too.
