You do not have free speech in my house.  People own these platforms and they have the right to regulate them.

Here’s the part I don’t understand.  The right wingers claim that Fox news is wildly popular. Why don’t Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, white nationalist Paul Nehlen and Infowars contributor Paul Joseph Watson just head on over to the highly popular Fox News chatroom and spend the day there?

Conservatives are not being banned from social media. Lunatics trying to incite violence are.

So, here’s the deal. If Fox allows it, that’s fine. But Fox won’t because Fox knows they will be held liable when one of these creeps incites someone to do something unthinkable.

Okay, so today we find out that the White House complained about the Mueller Report to Barr.

White House Counsel Emmet Flood sent a letter to Attorney General William Barr in April complaining that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report made “political” statements, according to multiple reports.

The letter, obtained by Fox News and CNN, was reportedly sent one day after Mueller’s redacted report was released to the public.

I’ve read it. (It’s at the Fox News link above.) It’s 4 pages of whining. It’s too long for Trump to read and too short to make much sense.

Just more flotsam and jetsam off the Ship of Fools.

John Earnest, the 19 year old from Poway, California, left behind a 7 page letter outlining his beliefs prior to murdering people up a synagogue.

Earnest is a member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), an evangelical Calvinist sect of the United Presbyterian Church.  He is a student of theology and his carefully crafted letter is filled with basic OPC teachings used to justify his actions.  He believes “that Jewish people, guilty in his view of faults ranging from killing Jesus to controlling the media, deserved to die. That his intention to kill Jews would glorify God.”

Some members of the OPC are looking inward to see where their teachings can be understood as meaning that God has replaced Jews as his chosen people with Christians.  Others, not so much, writing it off as aberrant.

If Earnest had been a student and adherent of Islam, all hell would be breaking loose.  Because his religious war is homegrown, the tendency is to blame the devil, not the teachings of his church.

Why sects of Christianity are not given the same scrutiny as any other religion is rather obvious. It is also very dangerous.

Let’s remind him that Christine Blasey Ford had the courage to go up against a lawyer and she’s not even a lawyer herself.

Silly me, I thought the Ford vs. Chevy arguments were limited to the deep south.  But, here we are in Virginia.

Please meet Mark Edwin Turner, 56 years old, who has strong feelings in the great car debate.  On Easter Sunday, right before dinner, Turner got into a  fight with his girlfriend’s son over the value of a Ford as compared to a Chevy. The results was that Turner missed Easter dinner because he was locked up in the pokey for felony malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

As the front yard argument progressed, Turner went into house and got a knife.  At that point, Turner’s girlfriend tried to get between Turner and her son Logan Bailey.  For her efforts, she got stabbed in the lower back.  Turner went back in the house and got a gun this time. His girlfriend once again tried to intervene and for her efforts, Turner shot her five time. Semi-fortunately all the shots went to her legs.

In a holiday-filled gunfire celebration, the girlfriend’s son was shot in the arm and his girlfriend was hit by two bullets that police said ricocheted.

The three victims went to the hospital, where all of them are expected to recover nicely.

The police reported that alcohol was involved.

I am sad to report that we did not hear which car each side supported, but all in all, there were no winners in Virginia that day.
