Comcast, in direct conflict with what Ajit Pai, FCC chairman said would happen, is announcing to its customers that, since net neutrality is now dead, it will begin throttling mobile video speeds unless customers pay up.  Pai, a former telecommunications lawyer and lobbyist, poo-pooed watchdogs and millions of Americans when he unilaterally overrode the Obama era net neutrality order, and within days of the repeal, what you would expect would happen is happening.  Comcast even had the gall to rationalize their action by claiming that slower speeds, customers data plans would last longer.  Really?

Pai is already well known for lying, since he claimed the flood of negative comments to his plan to unravel net neutrality was a cyberattack, not actually millions of Americans saying no.  He stubbornly clung to his plan, the invertebrates in Congress failed to act to protect Americans (again), and so now our internet access and speeds are only for those who can pay more.

There is a place for anger, and THIS is it.

Well, I heard that Trump has ordered flags for his upcoming campaign … from China.  I’m betting you right now that China is gonna put a tariff on those damn flags that’ll force Trump to make the Department of Energy pay for them.

And Mar-a-Lago is also big on American products and services.

President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club has applied for permission to hire 40 foreign workers to serve as waiters during the winter social season in Palm Beach, Fla., according to data posted Thursday by the Labor Department.

I don’t have a problem with that either, just so long foreign workers at Mar-a-Lago are willing to put their children in cages in El Paso while they work in Florida.

So I know you are still just all a’twitter over the way people have treated mentally ill Alan Dershowitz at Martha’s Vineyard.  Sadly, he has discovered that people he thought were his friend do have limits when it comes to tyranny.

But that’s nothing compared to the treatment of Fox and Friends in Colonial Williamsburg yesterday.

Fox and Friends went live with Thomas Jefferson and asked him a few questions.

Asked what it felt like to write the Declaration of Independence, “Jefferson” said the document was “quite literally a call forth for mankind to burst free from the chains of bondage.”

He then proceeded to read the parts of the Declaration of Independence that perfectly describe Trump.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that you don’t go celebrate anything at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida.

For the second time in a few of years, someone who came to see the fireworks got shot because some other someones came to shoot their guns because shooting your gun when there’s not crowds around just takes all the fun outta it.

Celebratory gunfire is also a thing in Texas.  Oh hell, it’s a thing all over the south.  I’m not saying it’s a good thing.

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday backed the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to aid President Donald Trump and is continuing its efforts to undermine U.S. democracy.

Now I want you to consider for just a second how Richard Shelby would react if Iraq stole our election.  Or if Obama did.

Y’all, why we would want to be adversaries with Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Great Britain, but not Russia means only one thing – the GOP is obsessed with becoming … dictatorial sumbitches.
