Y’all, Ted Cruz.  The Washington Times is a rightwing newspaper.

It appears that Ted Cruz has taken an interest in African Americans for the first time in his life.

Mr. Cruz wrote a letter to Smithsonian leaders on Monday, saying they “made a mistake by omitting the enormous legacy and impact” of Justice Thomas from the recently opened museum in northwest Washington.

“I became deeply disturbed upon learning that Justice Thomas’s moving story and incredible contributions to the country are not even mentioned, much less discussed in detail in the museum,” the Texas Republican wrote. “Making matters worse, the only reference to Justice Thomas is in regard to a single individual’s controversial accusation against him at his Senate confirmation hearing twenty-five years ago.”

Okay, okay, I’m betting that Cruz has not been to the museum. I am also willing to bet that poor ole Clarence could not get even one black person to complain and the best he could do is a Cuban/Canadian/Idiot.

By the way, Cruz does know that Anita Hill is black, too, right?

I just don’t find this to be real comforting.

Yesterday, the Russian ambassador was gunned down by an off-duty police officer in Ankara, Turkey.  The whole thing is on camera.  In Berlin, a terrorist rammed a semi-trailer truck packed with steel into a Christmas market killing 9 and injuring over 50 people.  Cheeto Jesus’s response?

CJ just can’t help himself.  He’s still gloating over winning the electoral college, is perpetually slapping himself on the back, and gloating through taunts thrown at Bill Clinton.  Isn’t there some point where you stop campaigning and actually try to start governing?  Apparently not.  SNL’s opening on Saturday night was so close to reality that it made one squirm in their chair while watching.  Here it is for your own squirming:

In true form in a world where rules and laws don’t apply to him, Cheeto Jesus has decided to keep his private security detail in addition to the Secret Service.  It’s pretty much consensus that having divided security is stupid, and only increases the risks for him and his family.  However, since the laws of physics and common sense don’t apply to CJ, he’ll go his own way.

Maybe the MSM will begin reporting on all these abnormalities, when he closes the White House briefing room and turns it back into a swimming pool for his Miss Teen USA parties.

Is it just my overflow of cynicism that suspects Russia had something to do with the death of their own ambassador in order to continue the destabilization of Turkey?  I mean, they’d like nothing better than to test NATO in Turkey.  Yeah, it’s probably just me.

Betsy DeVos, Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Murdering Public Education, is completely ready to serve Trump.  She has experience at being unethical.

Devon and her education PAC owe $5.3 million in fines for breaking campaign finance laws in Ohio.  Her PAC campaigned for “school choice.”  That means she supports using tax dollars to corporatize education.

The PAC asked the commission whether it was allowed to contribute more than the $10,000 limit to an affiliate in Ohio. Even though the commission advised that such a move would be in violation of state law, All Children Matter proceeded to provide $870,000 to the Ohio outfit.

Laws, smaws, we don’t need no stinkin’ laws and we ain’t gonna pay the fines either. We are rich, white, privileged and own gold furniture.
