Steve Stockman

Former Tea Party Republican Congressman from Texas, Steve Stockman, was indicted last year on 28 counts.

The charges included mail and wire fraud, conspiracy, making false statements to the Federal Election Commission and money laundering, the Justice Department said in a statement.

Mr. Stockman, a Republican, solicited $1.25 million in charitable donations from May 2010 to October 2014 that was later used for other purposes, the Justice Department said.

And then this year, he was tried and convicted of 23 of those counts – all felonies.

Stockman and Friend

He’s a mess.  He would have stole the gold out of his grandmother’s teeth if she would have sit still for it.  His campaign headquarters was in a former motorcycle shop where city officials found 14 fire code violations and no permit. He had put up bunk beds in it and his “staff” was living there.  It was filthy.

The felony counts should result in several decades in prison.

His sentencing was just postponed to complete a PSI (pre-sentence investigation).

Yeah, the day election.

Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen believes that after the PSI, Stockman will be in prison so long that he’ll never get out until the mortuary is called.

Thanks to Alfredo over at the Dairy Queen for the heads up.

  2. Aye, Larry! That’s the thin and thick of it, isn’t it! There’s a whole slew of people going to jail who really should but there is also somebody in the WH addicted to pardons to make himself look like champion of the underdog! if he ends up gong to jail and Pence is warming his desk chair, yes, I bet that pence does a Jerry Ford and pardons him!!!

This little boy gone be busy on election day — and it won’t involve glad-handing. Or voting.

Well, the motorcycle shop had to be a step up from the hot tub heaven that used to be his headquarters. Maybe prison will be the next adventure in Steve’s resume, but nary a hot tub nor cycle will he see.

Stockman is 61. If say 85 is the average life expectancy for his birth year, that’s just 24ish tears in prison. Not nearly enough. Let his carcass rot in prison for 10 years before he goes in the ground. Sorry-a$$ed snacilbupeR.

  10. Merc that’s so cruel. To make amends you might send po’ Steve a Christmas gift. My I suggest soap-on-a-rope or a jar of vaseline.
