Well, This Is Kinda Interesting

The Washington Post reports that the FBI “has seized more than 100 recordings that Michael Cohen made of his conversations with people discussing matters that could relate to Trump and his businesses and with Trump himself talking.”

Good Lord, Cohen made more recordings than Steely Dan.

I have been chatting it over with Thelma and we have decided that the worst job in the world definitely is the guy who has to listen to all those tapes.  I mean, it’d be like listening to the intellectual poundage of free beer night over at the bowling alley.

And then Thelma found this, so I decided to tell you about it.

  1. Reminds me of a joke I heard: What is the difference between Michael Cohen and a canary? One is yellow and sings – and the other one is a canary.

  2. If only Trump had really good people, the best people, like Nixon’s secretary Rose Mary Woods go over the recordings before another unfortunate soul was forced to listen through all that blathering. She could fill those 100 recordings with enough 18 1/2 minute gaps to get an honorary mention from the Swiss Cheese Makers Academy.

It appears Mr Cohen is a packrat. And the FBI has his.. “stuff.”

One can only hope these recordings contain a kernel of gold to help prosecute the Sleaze-in-Chief.

  5. Damn, I hope that there is at least one of the proverbial “Silver Stakes” or “Silver Bullets” among all that evidential material.
We desperately need an expert vampire slayer ASAP. Is Mueller up to the job?

  6. Recording Artist of the Year? Well, now that I think about it, why not?

  7. Oh, that image is perfect. Makes my day.

  8. And that rumbling sound you hear is Tricky Dick on the rotisserie in his crypt, screaming something about “tapes.

  9. We’re you referring to Steely Dan, the band or Steely Dan, the original device for which the band was named?
