Your Investment in Fort Bend
Report from Hazel’s phone banking team. Here’s the team yesterday with one of our candidates, Brian Middleton. You guys have helped Fort Bend tremendously and in addition to that, helped hard-working folks have a little better Thanksgiving and Christmas. I deeply and sincerely thank you for that.
The team has grown to 10 people working all day or part time from Hazel’s house. They come in the afternoon and she fixes dinner for them.
Here’s the calls they have made in the past two days. (Hazel says to tell you that she didn’t make the most calls – two other people use her log-in numbers on her computer!) I took off the last names of our team.
I just wanted you to see where your money is going and that it’s paying for something wonderful.
Thank you, guys. Hazel says y’all rock and Hazel never lies.
Back at you, Hazel, with a hearty salute to Team Hazel! We cannot thank you enough for a President Hilz, a Democratic Senate and a good chance at regaining a sizeable chunk of the House. Kudos, Brava and our love to you for your leadership in forming an accomplished and great team. You are the beautiful people of “we the people!” Thank you.
1Way to go.. Bring the vulgarian down.
2Wow!
3Sings, slightly off-key:
“I’m dream-ing of a bluuuue Tex-as. . .”
Thanks, Hazel and crew, for working to make it happen.
4Thank you, Team Hazel!
5God bless you Hazel for ever and ever. I do phone calling for our local Hillary office. Have not had much luck. Very, very few people are at home. Same way for the 2012 Obama phone calling. I was given a list of retirees. Got through to three of them and they were in between leaving one part time job to get to the other on time. Retiring here in the D.C.area is over the top expensive. But that has not stopped me for Phoning For Hillary! I did run into one Trumpite, but thats it. Thank goodness!!!
6maggie, thank you for your efforts and contributions! Jane and I went to do the “early vote” and encountered one Donnie supporter in a red tee-shirt outside the polling station. Rules mules and smuggles. Who knows. We did not engage her, nor did any of the other voters; 50 feet or fifty yards or whatever distance depending on state rules, she was gone when we exited the polls. Most likely she left on her own volition due to being ignored.
However, that is not to ignore the Donnie efforts to intimidate voters in minority districts. Rachel Maddow and her producers ran an informative episode last night about snacilbupeR voter repression. It begins in 1981 with voter intimidation and a NJ lawsuit against the RNC. Seems the RNC has another smack in the face from Donnie and his “voter watch” dufii.

7Good dog, look at them people! They’re all….Texans and Americans-dual citizenship or sumpin. Good work, team.
8Dear Miss Juanita,
I sent Bubba $50 for Hazel. Keep up the good work!
9Did phone calling for Pres Obama but too ill to help now, which I regret. But I have a Hillary sign in the yard and stickers on my car. Several good friends in rural areas are afraid to put out sign or bumper stickers for fear of vandalism. Was never a problem in past elections. Trump is a vile sleaze, a festering sore. Can’t wait till he is a nothing for the remainder of his sorry existence.
10Thank you, Craig. We all appreciate it.
11@Tilphousia: I know what you mean. I have a yardsign, but due to the Trump Attitude here, I was afraid to post it in the yard. So I cut it into two signs and taped one on the inside of my front door and another on the inside of another window.
I’m sure I get a lot more exposure and don’t have to worry about staying up all night to guard my sign!

12No, Hazel. You and your team rock!
This is what democracy looks like folks. Remember.
13I voted for that guy yesterday!
14I sent Hazel a check close to two weeks ago. I hope she got it all right. She hasn’t cashed it yet.
15congrats to Hazel and her crew, and my best good wishes for Mr. Middleton’s success in the upcoming election.
unfortunately, one advantage of being a being an older, middle-aged white guy, that I don’t have, is being able to vote in more than one state per election.
y’all go get ’em!
