You Know That Thing About Jeb Being The Smart One? Maybe Not So Much.

May 20, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

All you folks who said that W. Bush was the dumbest man on earth have some crow-eating to do.

Oh dear Lord in a Florida swamp – Andrew Card just killed Jeb Bush’s chance of being president.

Talking about Dubya’s Iraq war and Jeb’s answer to it, Card explained intellect.

Jeb Bush.JPG“Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough asked Card why it took Jeb Bush four days to articulate his position.

“It did. It shouldn’t have taken them that long,” Card responded. “I don’t think it would have taken his brother that long to clear it up.”

So what he’s saying here is that Dubya is quicker and smarter than Jeb.  Honey, that’s dog dump dumb.

Seriously.

I do think Jeb is “smarter” but that Babs was making a comment between “dumb” and “dumber”. Jeb in his role as “smarter brother” has to give the appearance of thinking which is not his strong suit whereas W doesn’t care he’s dumber than a fence post and relies on his “gut” and once he responds he won’t move from that position. He’s too dumb to know (or care) he’s dumb and Jeb wants to appear smarter than he really is. The gene pool is pretty shallow.

And Jeb? The Good Book says “Am I not my brother’s keeper?”. It doesn’t say “Am I not my brother’s excuse-maker?.

And look at that picture! Hangin on each other like two stupid, spoiled-rotten frat boys… oh, wait.

  4. I never understood why anyone thought Jeb was the “smart one.” To me, he always seemed like George W without the cheap pseudo-charisma. For that matter, George Senior never seemed particularly bright either.

I think W. just had better puppeteers.

From the picture, it’s impossible to determine which Bush brother is the dumbest. However, based on posture it appears Bush the Bloated was the least sober that day.

Been out of the country for awhile—can’t say I missed it.
Coming home to dumb and dumber and seeing the infrastructure mess that we have compared to Europe’s systems…
I stopped being proud of being From the US years ago…now I am ashamed—is this really the best we can do?
Anyone but JEB may give us Walker–that would be a nightmare.
The clown bus is not that amusing if you have been away for awhile.
Decent people are getting chewed up by the stupidity of the institutions
of “leadership” –I am very afraid for US…

  8. Of course dumb is not a disqualification for the Repub primary. Or for being elected President, for that matter (see “George W. Bush). A lack of radicalism combined with a total lack of charisma is what will do Jeb in.

  9. Poor Jeb. I think he is dumber, meaner and more hypocritical than his brother. \

The Iraq questions prove the dumber, the wanting to have Terry Shiavo’s husband prosecuted for supposedly causing her brain damage proves the meanness and actually making a million or so dollars from the ACA the last few years while calling for its downfall proves the hypocritical.

  10. Old Mayfly says:

II think Marlene Steenhoek nailed it.

“All hat and no cattle” W. played the good ol’ boy well enough to fool a lot of Americans into voting for him–and that was all the smarts he needed.

The whole family seems to have a “I’ve got mine–to hell with you lesser people” attitude.

Scott Walker has a personal net worth of 72,000 dollars in the hole and Wisconsin in a couple billion in the hole because of Walker’s fiscal responsibility. Don’t believe there is a wingnut out there who can manage money.

I can’t help but think that Americans are still so angry about Dubya’s duplicity during Iraq that no Bush, no matter how smart or stupid, has a chance in hell of getting elected president. Heck, he wasn’t even invited to their own conventions.

And said dozens of really, really stupid things so cockamamy that even my very diplomatic Canadian cousins split their seams laughing. Message to Bush family: give it up! No more pretensions to the highest office. You’ve had it. And that means all of you!

  16. RepubAnon says:

Isn’t it oneresting how the Bush brothers hear about Doug Feith being called the dumbest (Mama-censored) man on the planet, and see it not as an insult to Doug Feith, but as a title to be won for themselves.

  17. not stupid says:

Jeb should never be POTUS because of what he did to elected his stupid brother.
The great Ex-con game by Greg Palast tell it all.

“In November the U.S. media, lost in patriotic reverie, dressed up the Florida recount as a victory for President Bush.
But however one reads the ballots, Bush’s win would certainly have been jeopardized had not some Floridians been barred from casting ballots at all. Between May 1999 and Election Day 2000, two Florida secretaries of state – Sandra Mortham and Katherine Harris, both protegees of Governor Jeb Bush- ordered 57,700 “ex-felons,” who are prohibited from voting by state law, to be removed from voter rolls. (In the thirty-five states where former felons can vote, roughly 90 percent vote Democratic.)”

  18. JEB waited 4 days longer than W to think about that whole Iraq invasion thing. I think it shows great restraint and consideration in his decision making process.

When JEB was asked that Iraq question, I bet he appreciated this Deep Thoughts quote from Jack Handey:

If you go flying back through time and you see somebody else flying forward into the future, it’s probably best to avoid eye contact.

When Bush was elected I suggested that Harris should get an ambassadorship, like maybe, Somalia.

  21. In the Bush family, “smart” means DUMB. Is Jeb smarter than George W? It doesn’t matter, they’re both idiots.
