You Know, Because Gay is Not Genetic, But Buckbutt Ignorant Is

November 05, 2013 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

It’ Aladamnbama this time.

A congressional candidate for guess which party has made an announcement that no gay people are born in Alabama – they are all imported.

A Republican congressional candidate from Alabama with a history of combating homosexuality said on the campaign trail in 2002 that gays should return to California or Vermont or “wherever they came from.”

Dean Young, who is vying for the Republican nomination in a runoff election Tuesday for Alabama’s first congressional district, in which the candidate suggested gays must have moved to Alabama from other areas since they’re not native to the state.

You know, like camels or panda bears.  They have to be brought in from somewhere else.  Jim Nabors – born in Alabama – was just a freak of nature so he moved for California and got famous to pay penance.

Be social and share!

  1. Does this guy wear a Members Only jacket and have a severe accent? Mahmoud, is that you?

  2. There aren’t any gays in Iran, either, according to former president Ahmadinajad. Another way Alabama is like Iran.

Laughing! I sneaked past the 502 BAD GATEWAY as fast as I could. Wait til that guy finds out his favorite cousin is gay.

  4. Oh Honey I have news for him, I lived in Alabama for 6 years and there are plenty of gays and lesbians who were born there and have mother and fathers who were and are deeply rooted in ‘Bama history.

And I might add, more closet cases than you can buy at the Container Store.

  5. I wonder if he also thinks that gays fly south for the winter.

This guy is ignorance on steroids.

  6. I am reminded of the words of Thomas Brackett Reed, a Gilded Age (the first one) Speaker of the House, who said of a colleague that he could not open his mouth without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge.

Came across that last week and saved it– thought I’d be applying it to Louie, but it certainly fits this jackwagon too.

Wonder how many gays he doesn’t know he knows.

  7. @Rhea, that saying (which is very good) applies to so many Republican/Tea Partiers, I wouldn’t even know where to start in naming them. The list would be so long that none of us would probably be alive to finish it.

  8. Ralph Wiggam says:

It’s all part of the United Nations Agenda 21 to flood Alabama with gay people to persecute the Christians and take away yer guns!

  9. Marcia in CO says:

Dear God … how can these people actually exist? Such a waste of reasonably good oxygen! They give me such a crappy headache just trying to comprehend how God-awful stupid they are!!

  10. JAKvirginia says:

Well, maybe he’s right. Can’t be birthin’ gays when you spend all of your time birthin’ stooooopid! And I mean that in the nicest way.

  11. “Subtracting from the sum of human knowledge” pretty much sums up the Repug party. Thanks for that quote,Rea.
I would up the ante and propose that the Repugs are subtracting from the sum of human progress and would have us back in the Dark Ages if they had their way.

  12. Well, Tennessee is a bit behind the times….they are putting a constitutional amendment on the ballot in 2014 to ban gay marriage forever and ever and ever and ever…..until SCOTUS tosses it.

Time and money well spent here in Evangelibaggerville.

  13. Thanks, Rhea–Marcia–“oxygen bandits”was the name my oldest child gave to people who were stealing air from the rest of us to spout their stupidity–she also, during those angst filled teenage years, would come home from school muttering that she had been to hell and back and she needed a rocket launcher…I learned lots from my kids and told them that if I ended up in a short white blonde haircut, a black tee shirt with the sleeves cut out, that it was their fault for disabusing me of my American Dream and I would go out with the rocket launcher strapped to my back, most likely screaming about all the dead marsupials on the roadway…and we are liberals from Ca! No Kristian Krazy, no anti gay rants, a great Democratic ledge (thank you Jerry Brown)…just so frustrated from dealing with stupid!

Young is a guy who’s not much good at geography, either. He thinks that Denial is a river in Alabama.

  15. Now that I think of it, the “subtracting from the sum of human knowledge” would be best applied to Fox News, if only because disseminating knowledge instead of Shinola is supposed to be their only job, and they screw it up so badly.

  16. This idiot lost to a mainstream GOP type
