Holy smokes, campers, I am glued to the teevee. I don’t understand it all yet but it appears Donald Trump may be in deeper than Putin can pull him out.
Okay, so what’s in that report they were using to try to “compromise” Trump?
Also, when Comey refused to say if there is an investigation of Russian ties to the US political scene because the FBI never confirms of denies any investigation, Senator Angus King asked Comey if he saw the irony in that. Comey apparently didn’t.
Oh, this promises to get better than recess in heaven!
Schadenfreude delight! Let’s not forget about Donnie’s little previous $10 million fine for money laundering with the Iranians. Anyone think Donnie might not like President Obama’s Iran agreement because his toxic butt is waste and waist deep in conflicts of interest?
Then there’s Donnie’s China & Taiwan oops on the one China agreement/tradition phone call. Then Jared skidded into China looking for some cash on his 666 Plaza Place.

2There is no hard evidence that I’m aware of, but there are good reasons to believe that DJT owes quite a lot to varied Russian oligarchs/mob figures, and rumors of money laundering for them through real-estate deals. There is also the well-known-in-computer-security issue of servers belonging to Trump’s organization having direct, regular connections to Alfa Bank in Russia, which terminated immediately after this information became public.
There have also been suggestions, since before the election, that both major Russian groups of cyberspies cracked both the RNC and DNC servers. Putin has some personal enmities towards HRC for her Ukraine positions and others, so she got trashed at Wikileaks. Meanwhile, Trump is apparently suitable for blackmail.
It’s certainly in the best interests of the Russian government to blackmail and/or embarrass Trump after he takes office…
Maybe that will make more states pass laws requiring presidential candidates to release their tax returns before they can appear on the ballot…

11It’ll get interesting if the Russians release their data – I expect they’ll wait until they’re better friends with Turkey first. If they can get Turkey to quit NATO, I’d expect Russia to release their information, then help Turkey against Greece – then grab the Ukraine.
Meanwhile, China would attack Taiwan while the US is in turmoil.

19P.P., it may be deliberate fakery to be loudly debunked. If it is, I hope the principle applies here that pointing out that a story isn’t true just reinforces it in many minds. I’d like all news to be as true as possible, but if it isn’t and changes minds, at least I’d like some to change in our favor once in a while.

This is either all true, in which case Dat Guy was Russia’s first hack of the 2016 election, or it’s all false, and Russia has executed a brilliant disinformation campaign to delegitimize both he and Hillary.

Some of the accusations seem awfully far fetch to be true even for Donnie J. I recall the earliest reports of Bill Clinton’s indiscretions made it sound like coercition to point of rape.
This kind of maneuver by the trump camp would not surprise me in the least.
