Y’all Ron Paul is Contagious In More Ways Than One

March 26, 2020 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Y’all, apparently Ron Paul’s big Trump pumped ego is also contagious.

A Congressman from Kentucky plans to vote “no” on the $2 trillion coronavirus relief package, which the Senate passed 96-0 Wednesday evening.

U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican who represents Kentucky’s 4th District, also hinted that he might object to a voice vote in the House of Representatives, which would force all members to return to Washington, D.C. and slowdown movement on the bill.

Massie told 55 KRC radio Thursday morning he plans to reject the measure — which includes one-time $1,200 checks to certain individuals and $367 billion in loans and grants to small businesses — due to concerns over spiking the national debt.

Oh yeah, all of a damn sudden.

All those tax cuts to big corporations and billionaires didn’t bother him one bit.  But, give a family money for food and he goes in all six directions and threatens to expose everybody to a virus.

I dunno.  Maybe it’s got something to do with both of them having curly hair – maybe they stuck their fingers in the plug and fried their brains.

Be social and share!

Poor Tom. He must be sitting in the same vacuum as Louie Gohmert, Gym Jordan and Steve King. Hell, even the ***king moron* is aware that the boss of the House is Speaker Pelosi. He* may not like it, but he* knows it.

St00pid Tom. Moscow Mitch got what he wanted. When even Mitch is grinning and not complaining about crumbs for the peasants, it’s over, Tom.

You may have transposed [father] Ron Paul [fmr US Rep from TX] for his son Rand Paul in the title and text.
It’s Sen. Rand Paul [R(eprehensible)-KY, who is COVID-19&45 positive, in self-quarantine, and has curly locks.
Never heard of Massie before, obviously a cookiecutter Rethug asshole.

Nevertheless, it looks like this massive bill needs to be stopped and modified some more.
Like others have pointed out, it has some very bad ‘poisin pills’ embedded in it, particularly involving damaging Social Security [the Thugs wet dream].

Pelosi and the Dems had better not swallow this pill without removing the toxins and virus within it.

Just like every other congressman, he’ll be up for re-election in November. We need to wipe the slate clean of people with this need for attention at the harm of others.

OMG! this is my big break to show my craven conservative cohones. Hope the voters won’t squash me like a green guts grasshopper.

Was this guy around for the vote on the “tax break” (giveaway for the rich) that made the deficit skyrocket??!

I guess I have a few bucks to spare for the Kentucky Dems to go against this fool… ^

^ But I want more swag.

Unfortunately, there is no danger of this moron being beat. He’s from KY-04, Jim Bunning’s old stomping grounds, a gerrymandered snake of a district that starts in the more affluent suburbs of Louisville, follows the Ohio River up to the white-flight suburbs of Cincinnati, then continues to the northern edge of Appalachian Kentucky, where people will still tell you with a straight face that the coal industry is only dead because of Obama and if we give Trump, like, six more terms he’ll bring it back. Sorry, this azzclown ain’t going nowhere…

There are, however, three Dems vying to run against Moscow Mitch. Amy McGrath is getting all the pub nationally, but State Rep. Charles Booker and Gentleman Farmer Mike Broihier are also pretty interesting (and talk a more progressive game than McGrath). If you have a few bucks to spare, consider tossing them in that direction. Sure it’s a long shot, but how sweet would it be…???

  7. I don’t know why the thuglicans appeal for people to sacrifice themselves on the alter of wall street surprised anyone.
This virus is just accelerating the thuglicans death cult philosphy.
This is essentially the same arguement they present against universal health care, clean water regulations ( Flint), clean air, environmental regs, FDA regs and so on and so on.
A few deaths are a good trade off for a few more points on the dow jones.
Any way as the article below cites states can use triage to decide not to save the “undesirables”. (From Alabama “…such as metastasized cancer, AIDS, “severe mental retardation,” advanced dementia and “severe burns” – could disqualify patients from being put on potentially lifesaving ventilators” – sounds like the return of eugenics laws)
This is how to “save” social security condemn recipients to death by triage.
They appear to even be willing to sacrifice a few of their own in their all consuming greed and authoritarian drive.
The assumption is always based upon the “deserving” getting the best chance of survival while the poors must offer their lives up for the 1%’s gratification.
As a side light can the states and municipalities use emergency powers or eminent domain to force “concierge” doctors to join the fight at hospitals for all as well a seizing any medical equipment (i.e. ventilators) from “private” or corporate clinics and even those in homes of the very wealthy.
Dig up those bolt holes the super wealthy have been preparing for themselves and requisition any and all supplies needed.

Yes, well, the $1,200 / $2,400 is a way to buy votes. That much we know.

So let this guy kick his constituents in the teeth. I imagine they’ll kick back come November. I don’t care how red they are, they’re still green — and he’s voting against free money and being loud about it.

This boy is simply the young Ted Cruz. Same play, same lust for attention. Same lack of brains. What is his pay off? I reckon with “executive function” skills such as he is demonstrating he will be in line for Chief of Staff soon.
