Where I’m At In My Head

March 25, 2019 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

I’m totally blabberfasted.  I kinda think I’m being gaslighted.  I want to see the whole report, with exhibits.

For example, if nothing happened at the Trump Tower meeting, why did they lie about it? Just to stay in practice?

What the hell did Mike Flynn give up that got him off spending even one day in jail?

I do not know if you’ve seen it, but I have come across the word kayfabe a few times in recent days when reading about politics in America.  I finally looked it up.  You should, too, because it works.

When our political status in America is being defined by a term from professional wrestling, we are truly screwed.

I don’t mind being happy or mad or sad or furious or joyful or nervous or damn near anything because I am a grown woman built from the spirit of tough women who withstood the storm on the storm’s terms.  But, damn, I hate being confused. Today I am confused and I imagine there’s not going to be an immediate cure.

So, hold on. You bought a ticket and the ride’s not over.   (Yeah, I’m talking to myself.)

Be social and share!

  1. We have only been given Barr’s interpretation of Mueller’s report. We need to see the actual findings. But, yeah. Trump will probably ride this pony to re-election.

Bill Barr spun and lied as expected. But the damn media? Too many in the media took that spin a huge leap forward to actually misquoting Barr to throw further shade on the report in IQ45’s favor. Since it is doubtful that the media received advanced copies of the report, it appears they’re transcribing everything the Gish gallopers in the criminal WH circle provide them.

Release the hounds. Release the report. And hope Jerry Nadler is more successful investigating than was former Senator Bob Graham (D-FL) after the Saudi attacks September 11, 2001.

  3. I suspect it will occur to tRump that firing off a nuke might be fun…he’s gotten away with everything else.

Your frustration is understandable only if you ignore how corrupt are the Democrats. That’s right, the real question is why team blue is so busy picking the mote out of Trump’s eye, but ignoring the beam in its own.

Sure, Bush 43 was a disaster. It was easy to vote for Obama after the war crimes of Bush’s administration. But Obama not only did not prosecute the war crimes of Bush / Cheney, he promoted the torturers and prosecuted the whistle blowers! He also gave Wall Street’s criminals a “Get out of jail free” card, settling for dimes on the dollar of their loot rather than send them to jail. Even Reagan / Bush 41 prosecuted the Savings & Loans execs and sent nearly a thousand of them to jail.

Until the D’s clean their own house, and stop nominating corporate / oligarchy-friendly candidates like Biden, Gillibrand, Klobuchar, Harris and Beto, Trump will continue to win. We can blame no one for voting for him, given the corporate Democratic alternatives and how crooked they are. Those are not votes (in the presidential and more than 1,000 down-ticket races) those are defiant messages to the establishment supported by both team red and team blue that they can stick it where the sun don’t shine.

  5. Years ago a print media person in Houston went to tv news producing when his paper was sold. He said a trained chimp could do the job. His biggest problem when he assigned a reporter to a story was telling why it was important.

This just means Democrats need to get smarter. If creative people are liberal, where are they as far as elections are concerned? Where is our Frank Luntz?

Republicans cannot walk a chew gum. They damn well keep to the daily talking points enough to convince many of us that what they are selling is Kosher.

We need to get rid of the consulting class and get us some PR and communication people who know what they are doing.

Getting disenfranchised people to recognize that their vote counts should be a priority.

That SOB Trump is on his way to winning re election. Who else can send out letters asking for donations for the wall at the beginning and end of the speech declaring a national emergency and it ends up in his campaign war chest?

If people said I was guilty of a crime, and a team of top persecutors backed up by 40 FBI agents thoroughly investigated the accusations for 22 months then issued a report which completely and totally exonerated me, I would want that report published, distributed to the press, and mailed to every household in the country.

Trump claims the report completely and totally exonerates him, and says he wants it released.

Alrighty then. Let’s see the report. In full. Unredacted.

Let’s see what it really says.

  7. None of this detracts from the fact that Dolt45 stood next to Putin and declared he believe Putin that Russian did not interfere in the 2016 election. Mueller showed six ways from Sunday that they did and has indicted 34 Russians to prove it.

  8. Jane & PKM says:

Despite a term for George HW Bush, 2 terms for Dubya, then the dubious election of IQ45, we sane folks are not alone. We may not even be out numbered.

Vote in 2020. Certainly. But please do not wait to contact your Congress varmints and demand that “we the people” see the full unredacted Mueller Report now. Too sensitive, national security, blah, blah blah? That is why we have elected representatives who should demand that Bill Barr hand over the entire report to them. If Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell cannot see the report in its entirety, then both Bill Barr and Robert Mueller need to testify before Congress with no equivocating allowed. Answer the damn question(s.)

PS Representative Waters would like to see Donnie’s financials. Chop chop. Let the subpoenas fly.

  9. And if one of us “little people” came anywhere near what Trump et al. pulled, do you think for a moment that we would get off this easy? Bleep! NO!!!

Can’t wait for the leak of the entire report.

And I’ve got my fingers crossed that the Southern District of New York has all their dragons in a row!

  10. A man or woman writes a book.

Reviewers offer their opinion of the book, some like it some don’t.

Amazon is littered with one star reviews of classic literature.

    11
  11. We are being gaslighted by Bill Barr. A patriot in the Justice Dept will leak the whole report, Pentagon Papers style. It’s not over. It’s just the beginning of the beginning of the end.

    12
  12. Color me shocked. Shocked, I say!

Rebuplicant’s block U.S. Senate Democrats move of making Mueller report public.

If tRump is innocent of everything he was investigated for (yeah, right) one would think the report would be required reading (oh wait, most of tRump’s base have some difficulty with that task.) It would be broadcast ad nauseam till ear’s bled. But that is not happening. Why?

Could there be something in the report that is in conflict with his declarations of innocence?

  13. 1) trump is “Individual 1”, an unindicted co-conspirator with Michael Cohen for campaign finance violations. Also, everything connected to him is under investigation.

    2) posting this again in the salon, from Walt Shaub (Obama’s ethics attorney), “In Plain Sight”. Take a look: https://twitter.com/waltshaub/status/1110145389498380290
