Okay, I have a Can’t Wait Until Friday Toon –
I bought two bottles of my favorite happy wine – one for when he’s indicted and another for the perp walk next week. I will re-read Tucker Carlson’s extremely comical statement and laugh my rump off. He wants Biden to “stop” Trump’s indictment.
Said Carlson: “America will never be the same… You’ve got to hope that for the sake of the country, the Biden White House, which will be running against Trump, will put the country above partisanship and stop this.”
He added: “And that Merrick Garland at the DOJ will issue a very public statement saying that this is wrong—which it is—and therefore preserve for our grandchildren our justice system.”
I looked real hard for Tucker’s similar statement about Bill Clinton but … I dunno, must have just missed it.
Can I be on the jury?
1The former guy wants as much visual publicity as possible, you know, the handcuffs, the exit from the LE vehicle, his hideous howls of innocence heard by his maga ninnies. I hope that he’s arrested in the dead of night in his boxers, sedated, gagged, blindfolded, strapped on a stretcher and taken away in an unmarked, white van.

4I just hope we finally get over the idea that Presidents and former Presidents are somehow sacrosanct and can’t be held accountable like the rest of us. Because Nixon was never held to account for his crimes, the Reagan administration ran amok with the whole Iran-Contra debacle. I won’t even go into the truly egregious actions of Dubya getting us involved in a completely unjustified war. At least the rest of the world sees him and Cheney as war criminals and neither can travel anywhere without fear of arrest. (In Dubya’s case, he is welcome in parts of Africa because of his AIDS initiative.)
As long as there is a Dem in the White House, the Orange Moron will be tied up in various courts for the foreseeable future.
5Trying to imagine what the actual trial will be like, day after day with tucker, the MSM and the magats in the streets. There was a bomb threat at the courthouse this week (not sure if that’s why the grand jury was told to stay home today). That’s likely only the first of many when it goes to trial, but it needs to happen.
6He used campaign funds to cover up his affair as a candidate and now he’s fundraising off it. Of course he is.

When I was young and romanticly idealistic, I always thought there was true good in everyone. All it took to find it was some serious searching. Scratch that! Tucker et al. are simply dumber than deep fried bean dip!

The NY grand jury did not meet today (regular schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons) so earliest possible action is Friday afternoon. In my early adulthood I recall that bail bondsmen in Texas did not work weekends, so the authorities liked to arrest people on Friday afternoon. That way they could “work on” them until Monday morning.
Even better than a perp walk is for Trump to get arrested Friday … and then find that he can’t make bail and no bonding agent will touch it. That and his spawn saying “Donald who?” when called upon to cough up the money. Unfortunately that ultimate humiliation won’t happen – Saudi Arabian Prince MS Bonesaw would gladly purchase him yet again.

21I remember the “witch hunt” with little Kenny Starr – and the continuing “witch hunt” for the Clintons. I sure as hell do not remember the Democrats acting like a bunch of little Fascists complaining about any of this. The Clintons have given depositions – for hours – cooperating with all that question them and are able to act as adults. Now we have the autocratic repubs who are making total fools of themselves all while destroying out Democracy as quickly as they can.
