We’ve Missed You, Sarah

January 24, 2022 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Y’all, she has Covid.  I am not kidding.

Just as she was set to go to trial in her defamation suit against the New York Times, she got the fake disease.  I’m sure she won’t go to the hospital because that would mean she might have to take real medicine, and worse yet, somebody might feed off of her.

She is suing the Times for damaging her reputation.  How exactly would that be possible?

  1. That’s pretty much my attitude. Don’t you have to have character before you can accuse anyone of defaming it?

I feel bad for the court reporter who is going to have to take down all that word salad.

If I had been in that crowd when she started talking about “we can kind of feed off each other,” well, I would have started easing toward the nearest exit, and maybe broken into a flat out run.

  4. Sarah Palin shoots herself in the foot, repeatedly, but sure, it’s the NY Times who injured her with a tiny wood pulp splinter, which was quickly removed.

Katherine – can you imagine Palin’s word salad AFTER brain fever covid?

This is $carah’s second bout with the covid hoax. Lordy. Dumber people than her have “woke” to maybe they should consider vaccination. Or quite probably I am wrong on this – those people are not dumber than $carah.

Ms. JJ to your question: “She is suing the Times for damaging her reputation. How exactly would that be possible?”

Maybe they said something nice about her thus putting a dent in her “reputation”?

  7. The Surly Professor says:

Jane & PKM: you’re onto something there. NYT could publish “Palin is in strong support of every American citizen’s right to vote.” Nowadays that’s something that could ruin your reputation, if you’re a Republican.

Or how about “Sarah thinks that slavery is bad”. Or even, “employees in an at-will job environment should be free to take a job with a different employer”? That last one is prompted by an amazing case in Wisconsin:

[At-will for the employers apparently, not the employees!]

Sorry to followup my own comment, but it seems the alleged judge in the hiring case has backed down:

Not that it wasn’t ridiculous that he imposed the injunction to start with. He backed down in stages, at one point requiring two of the employees to remain at their old job. But I suspect he belatedly realized his own job was at stake.

@ #6 Jane & PKM: There’s an old lawsuit where someone won their slander case, because what the person said was indeed false. However, the plaintiff had such a terrible reputation that damages were one cent ($0.01)

@ #8 The Surly Professor: The New York Times had more details – no mention of a “non-compete” clause, just a judge that thought the 13th Amendment was unconstitutional.

Judge Lifts Order Preventing Wisconsin Hospital Workers From Starting New Jobs
ThedaCare had sought to temporarily prevent seven employees from leaving for jobs at Ascension, saying the departures would jeopardize patient care. A judge sided with the workers on Monday.

It was unclear how long ThedaCare wanted to retain the seven employees. The hospital system said in its lawsuit that it wanted Ascension to either lend one radiology technician and one nurse to ThedaCare each a day until it hired adequate staff or pause its hiring of the employees until replacements could be found.

Puts a whole new meaning to the phrase “wage slave”

Sarah Palin came down with COVID, after her vaccination “over my dead body” speech? I must not laugh. . .I must not laugh. . .I must not laugh. . . .

    11
  12. Sarah Palin, of course, while in NYC for a court case where she claims The NY Times done her wrong, did not have the required vaccination card (or vaccination) to dine indoors at a restaurant where she ate, 2 days before she tested positive for COVID.

Hopefully the restaurant staff and other diners will bring a lawsuit against her for doing them wrong.

  13. Sandridge says:

I’m real sure that any group of cannibals, past or present, after hearing Sarah’s screeching and whining, would instantly put her on their ‘most taboo’ list.
Such groups usually thought that ‘you are what you eat’, and the thought of a bite of that shriveled Alaskan mooseturd would have them running for the veggie bar.

She wants to be a Senator. If she wins it will be good news for Ron Johnson, who will no longer be the dumbest member of the Senate.
