Well, Dallas Republicans, If That’s How You Want To Play This
The Dallas Republican Party has filed a lawsuit to have 128 Democrats kicked off the Democratic primary ballot because … oh yeah get ready for this … they claim the Dallas County Democratic Chair did not sign the petitions of 128 candidates.
Here’s the deal – everybody with stuffing between their ears knows that Democrats are going to win almost every election in Dallas in 2018, so all the Republicans have left is voter suppression.
Democrats were caught off guard by something this petty but hell, we’re talking about a Party that by all appearance is run by Stephen Miller.
So, this mess is going to court because, you know, Republicans don’t believe in clogging up the court system with frivolous lawsuits and by gawd, we need smaller government.
If you click the graphic below, it will talk you to the email addresses of the Dallas County Republican leadership. Their leader, Missy, y’all, her name is Missy Shorey, might need to hear from you.
I have no idea about the rights and wrongs of this, being ignorant of Texas election law, but I do know that the GOP voter base is shrinking and their favorite ways of getting votes are lying, voter suppression, gerrymandering, and cheating, in various orders.
And I think y’all would enjoy yesterday’s featured word at the Urban Dictionary (Mama, please look away):
sarah huckasplain:
1Defending someone else’s bullshit.
“Tonight at 6, Sarah Huckasplains alternative facts.”
Ultimately, what killed Hillary’s campaign was her inability to see the opposition as being *that* petty and mean, and that will be true (potentially) for *every* opponent of the GOP status quo.
Better, faster, higher.
That’s the way to beat these scumbags…
2And the Dallas Republicans are quaky clean? I bet not! Throw that at them! I think this will get thrown out of court or they will find they can’t even enter their case to begin with.
3Old FArt, IMO that was a problem POTUS Obama also had.
He had no clue what a bunch of chickens shits these people really are. Many of us were brought up around a few. And we remember Lee Atwater.
At least in southeast Texas we can have fun watching the Montgomery County, the Woodlands, Republicans doing it to each other.
4snacilbupeR are much worse than I realized too. I didn’t realize they had amassed such a collection of misanthropic sociopaths in the upper levels. I know it now.
5Hurray! Pennsylvania’s State Supreme court ruled that the Repuglican gerrymandering must be changed as it obviously gives them an overwhelming advantage. There are still some honorable judges in the courts. Maybe not in Texas, but somewhere.
6And lots of yard signs for the Democratic candidate for the Tim Murphy (disgraced right to lifer who told his mistress to abort their love child) seat in Congress. The special election is in March and we might need surfboards to ride the progressive wave all the way to Washington

7Don’t get excited. Wait until demented donnies new judiciary gets hold of this. After SCOTUS hacks get done with it they will probably send Penn’s judges to jail for infringing upon thuglicans right to rule by dictat.
