And, the Washington Post gives you a ringside seat at a Donald Trump meltdown.

  1. Bush didn’t just steal the election, he was asleep at the wheel.
God help us if we ever let another Republican into the White House.

  2. 30 years, give or take, since the end of the fairness doctrine led directly to decades of 24/7 right-wing propaganda over thousands of radio stations, and later Fox News.

Decades of right-wing propaganda leads directly to 45% of the American people that believe an objective crock of BS, namely Dubya kept us safe.

Our future is bleak when nearly half of the nation resides in a bubble of right-wing delusion.

On the bright side, I don’t have grandchildren.

  3. Those Scum-of-the-Earth Shrub and Darth Cheney began planning to attack Iraq even before they stole the election. (See: Downing Street Memo, Richard Clarke, Paul O’Neil.) They let 3000 Americans be killed by their incompetence, then hundreds of thousands of Iraqi girls and boys, moms and dads, aunts, uncles and cousins – all due to their greed and egomania. Then they proceeded to shred American moral standing by embracing torture.

To say that I hate them and their neocon pals is not nearly a strong enough statement.

    Here I stand
    with PDB in hand
The one saying what terrorists planned
    In our greatest land.

    But rilly who knew
    what these animals would do
    hijacking planes and crew
    making trade center fly through

It was all in the plan
I Condi. held in my hand
    But I didn’t understand
    Cuz I can’t read English.

and I am the smart, articulate one. Love you all.

  5. Bush didn’t steal the election. His minions did it for him. Bush can’t safely eat a pretzel on his own.

Oh, LynnN, yes he can! He doesn’t though because he can never decide on which end to start from.

  7. Polite Kool Marxist says:

Dubya choked on a pretzel, fell off a Segue, and fell off a bicycle. The clumsy son of a Babs couldn’t even keep himself safe …

  8. Because stupidity and willful ignorance can NEVER bite us where we can’t see, we keep going back to the well of ‘Merican ‘Xcetionalism… Also known as Infinite War syndrome.

Because, hey, peace is for losers.

  9. PKM, you inspire me to bring out the old story about Dubya’s library being flooded. Both books were destroyed, and Bush was upset, because he hadn’t finished coloring the second one.

And the one about Bush being told that several Brazilian troops had been killed in Iraq. “Oh, that’s terrible!… How many is a brazillion, again?”

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

    ― H.L. Mencken

I used to think that was Reagan. Then I realized that it was Baby Bush. Now I’m hoping it isn’t Trump or Carson….

  10. Hahahahahahahaha! Good ones Rhea. Thanks.

  11. Polite Kool Marxist: “Dubya choked on a pretzel, fell off a Segue, and fell off a bicycle. The clumsy son of a Babs couldn’t even keep himself safe …”.

He had a perfectly good reason, PKM, that none of the other wannabees seem to have: HE WAS DRUNK! In the future, please give credit where credit is due.

Just read the article at the WAPO link. Trump’s poll numbers have gone UP in Iowa since this rant, I’ve heard. So it seems to me like Republican-leaning voters are perfectly fine with a person who has made it clear that he pretty much despises everybody except himself. A sociopath if ever I saw one. And they’re ready to elect this sociopath to the highest office in the land. The whole scenario is something out of the opening scenes of an apocalypse movie.
