Watch This Space…

In an interesting twist, the NY Times is reporting that Trump’s longtime banker has suddenly resigned from her position at Deutsche Bank.  The banker, Rosemary Vrablic, and her associate, Dominic Scalzi, have both resigned.  Vrablic brought Trump to  the bank in 2011, convincing her credit committee to loan him over $300 million in multiple projects despite his long record of defaulting on loans, not paying his bills, and screwing his equity investors.  A real estate loan she arranged for Jared Kushner in 2013 is also under an internal investigation.  NYC DA Cyrus Vance has several civil and criminal investigations underway into whether Trump committed fraud in obtaining the loans.

  2. Apparently going commando is gonna be a matter of necessity for a lot of folks with past trump dealings.

  3. What an odd coincidence!

Those resumes will be interesting; I’m thinking they’ll go straight from the bank to the motor bank!

  5. That’s nice.
She’ll get spend more time with her family during the holidays and immediately afterward, before she begins making new friends in the legal profession.

Back in ‘90-91 & ‘94, when the Trumpf organization had to file bankruptcy with his Atlantic City casinos, he got bailed out because banks found he was too big (owed too much) to let fail. The banks were afraid they could fall, so he walked away leaving creditors on the hook. Looks like the bankers he’s been doing business with are still afraid of what happens if he fails. These 2 bankers likely know about plenty of skeletons in his closet and have been covering up and are complicit.
I also suspect the recent revelations about Russian cyber espionage and Trumpf’s continued failure to acknowledge by shifting blame elsewhere has everything to do with his debts to Putin and Russia.
Unlike ‘90-91, he knows his frauds are going to be exposed and he’s paranoid, thus his mad efforts to stay in power. The clock is ticking towards his doomsday.

  7. By all means let’s get a special prosecutor to investigate what Hunter Biden’s been up to.

  8. What with the way Trump protects his henchmen, I’ll bet there’s a race to turn state’s evidence.

  9. For myself, the best thing possible would be a seemingly endless string of Hair Furor’s victims who could testify to his history of abuse, duplicity for economic advantages, and generally cement the need to protect the world from his further machinations. Getting DB executives to immutably establish his role in laundering Russian money would be frosting after seeing him incarcerated…

Deutsche Bank would be one avenue to derail the fu king moron.

While the appropriate avenue should come through Moscow Mitch, if the fu king impeached moron follows through on his latest threat to veto what little scraps that passed Congress. Own him because you are him and quit pretending your give a damn about suffering.

From today until the 2022 elections, the DNC had best wrap Donnie around the necks of Moscow Mitch and Senate Republicons.

As a country we spent how much on tax cuts for the wealthiest, yet in nearly a year Republicons finally voted a 600 dollar scrap to to working families. fwiw Jane and I are fortunate – we missed the first cutoff and will miss this second, too. Quite honestly “if” Congress cared the threshold would be lower to qualify while the amounts would treble or quadruple for those most effected by this pandemic.

  11. Herr Twitler also just signed a slew of pardons of some of the crookedest and vile of convicted criminals, undoubtedly more to come.

The slimy convicted Congresscritters like Duncan Hunter and Steve Stockman skating free are bad enough.
But his pardoning of the four Blackwater mercs who slaughtered a bunch of Iraqi civilians is going to come back with a vengeance. Look for there soon to be a series of terrorist attacks on our military in the Middle East, and even US civilians here at home and abroad in retaliation.

Just another day with a Gangsta Prez, Rethuglikan minions, and his Trump Crime Family doing what they do best.

Nothing and nobody should be considered “too big to (let) fail.”

  13. The ONLY thing I can think of is that Hair Furor is giving the populace more money in order for them to give HIM more money…

  15. Harry Eagar says:

it is not clear to me who charters whichever DB unit lent to Trump. That will make a difference.

    15
  16. @ Harry – It was the private wealth group. The business credit group would not lend. Vrablic succeeded in moving Trump’s account to the private wealth group, which then approved the loans with his personal guarantee. A $330 million personal guarantee. Hence the fraud investigation by SDNY and Cy Vance.

    16
  17. Harry Eagar says:

Yes, but 15 minutes with Mr Google did not tell me who charters the Private Wealth Group. DB USA is a national association but part of it used to be Bankers Trust, and without spending more time than I am willing to do, I have not determined whether the Trump loans come under state or federal regulations.

    It makes a difference.

Enrich’s “Dark Towers” is a good yarn but light on the nerd stuff.

You will have noticed that trump pardoned the record-setting Medicare fraudster last night, so that will take care of his loans.

    17
  18. @Harry – Since it’s international with Deutsche and Post Bank, certainly feds have authority, especially the Comptroller. However, since Cy Vance is knee deep in investigations, the state has some authority.
