Wanna Buy a Boat?

Oh, I do like a good mystery. Remember Catamaran Consulting, LLC? The “go to” place to spend Ted Cruz’s ill-gotten PAC lucre (aka podcast advertisement proceeds) courtesy of iHeartMedia? In order to go to Catamaran Consulting, you just input into a map app this address provided by the FEC’s Schedule E report:

And that takes you to an area known for its architecture, green spaces, and diverse culture in LA called Los Feliz. To a place just off Franklin Ave that looks like this:

It’s a mail drop.

The California Secretary of State, however, has the “true” mailing address of Catamaran Consulting, LLC. According to The Google, that would be right here.

Nice digs huh?

Now, I’m beginning to wonder if Catamaran Consulting, LLC originally was a yacht sales agency.

  1. Question.
If they are the Truth & Courage PAC, why don’t they truthfully list their address, and have the courage to do so?

Truth & Courage in a political PAC which attracts the likes of Fled Cruz means exactly the opposite. Kind of like Truth Social- truth never spoken there either.
Maybe Fled was looking for an escape yacht he could flee to Cancun in when things get too cold or hot.
Again, what exactly is his job, anyway.

Those harbor-side luxury apartments definitely give off an “average working man” vibe, not an “elite of the elite” impression…

  4. Meanwhile, R’s are investigating ActBlue for alleged fraud:

This is a result of muckraker James O’Keefe and his gotcha “journalism.” He ambushes elderly ActBlue donors and asks them if they’ve made hundreds or thousands of donations to ActBlue, then records their reaction when they express shock and say they have only donated a few times. He claims he’s getting these lists of donations from the FEC website.

How do we know R’s didn’t make those donations to try and incriminate ActBlue, who may have accepted the donations in good faith?

Nice digs indeed. A slip in MDR cost a fortune forty years ago, can’t imagine today’s price.

    Take it easy on catamarans.
I owned one for a couple of decades, they’re the most fun you can have on water or land.
When I had extended TDY in Cali I even kept it at the Dana Point Marina down the coast from the Marina Del Rey mentioned above. Had a corporate apartment that went for around $2400/month back then too.
Today I keep my big monohull in a Coastal Bend marina, for a nominal rental fee (not cheap, but not Cali etc pricing either).
