Walk It Off
Remember when Trump said there were no injuries when Iran attacked a US base in Iraq?
That’s the truth, well, except for 34 of them who have been diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury.
But this is a new form of TBI that isn’t actually physical and certainly isn’t serious, said Dr. Trump
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, President Donald Trump on Wednesday downplayed the injuries as “headaches.”
“I heard that they had headaches, and a couple of other things,” he said during a press conference. “But I would say, and I can report, that it is not very serious.”
According to the DOD, brain injury was “about 22% of all combat casualties from Iraq and Afghanistan.”
So, ya know, it can kill you, but hey, walk it off. After all, what’s important? Your brain or Trump’s perfect war?
Tell me again how much he loves the troops.
“But I would say, and I can report, that it is not very serious.”
Based on what? Your near fatal experience with bone spurs?

2I believe this is something Trump has personally experienced.
3He’s had numerous wives, mistresses, porn actresses, etc, who all at one time or another, then permanently, had serious headaches. Even though in his opinion, it didn’t appear that bad at all.
Get Rid Of Him!… Take -Him- Out!… Okay… Do It! Now!
Put -His- Head On A Pike!
Give SOBOTUS a massive TBI ASAP, damn it!
4Convict Comrade Trump.
Our soldiers are out giving their best every day and President Bone Spurs has the gall to minimize their injuries. I don’t care if Iran and Iranians know they caused our soldiers injury – I care that our soldiers are treated well and with respect.

The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is a case study of how lawmakers can make themselves richer with the bills they pass.
Edit: When the price of Apple stock hit a then-record high in October 2018, among the shareholders counting their gains were 43 Republicans in Congress, who collectively owned as much as $1.5 million worth of the tech giant’s shares. Apple’s stock jumped 37 percent in its run-up to that record. Several variables were behind the climb, including higher-than-expected earnings.
But congressional Republicans themselves had a hand in the spike, stock analysts say. Legislation they championed — the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — doled out nearly $150 billion in corporate tax savings in 2018 alone. One effect: a big boost in stock prices.
Cutting tax rates for companies like Apple and hundreds of other stocks they own was one of many ways Republican lawmakers enriched themselves after they passed the tax law, according to a Center for Public Integrity analysis of the 186-page law and members’ financial disclosure forms.
** Democrats also stood to gain from the tax bill, though not one voted for it; ** all but 12 Republicans voted for the tax bill.
As part of the bill, Republicans approved tax breaks in 2017 for seven classes of assets many of the wealthier members of Congress held at the time, including partnerships, small corporations, real estate, and several esoteric investment vehicles. While they sold the bill as a package of business and middle-class tax cuts that would not help the wealthy, the cuts likely saved members of Congress hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes collectively, while the corporate tax cut hiked the value of their holdings. “It feels to me like a kleptocracy,” said Jeff Hauser, director of the Revolving Door Project at the Center for Economic and Policy Research, a left-leaning think tank in Washington, D.C.
‘ALL OF THE ABOVE IS ACCEPTABLE’
Republican lawmakers also boosted the value of their stock holdings when they encouraged American corporations to repatriate money they were holding overseas. The tax law decreed that future foreign profits would not be taxed at high rates, and that previously earned profits stashed abroad — an estimated $2.7 trillion — would be taxed one time at no more than 15.5 percent.

6OT+-, but while the subject of -markets- has been raised:
RAT45 goes to Davos:
Almost all US and world markets are tanking.
Crude oil prices are in freefall, about to go below $54/bbl, more than 10% down from a couple of weeks ago [w/the Iran spike >$60]. Will it go into the $40 range? We’ll surely get a fake war before then.
Look for your gas pump prices to sink below $2 a gallon [for some of us anyway, they were $2.12/gal last week here, may already be under $2, haven’t checked].
And a key indicator, the gold price, has steadily been rising…

10It’s hard to walk it off when you have fake bone spurs.
11I had 3 concussions in a 6 month period in Vietnam including two where I was unconscious. These kinds of injuries were prevalent but not diagnosed. Lots of my fellow vets suffer lingering effects from these types of unseen injuries yet it is just recently that the military and VA have put an emphasis on comprehensive treatment.
For a president to minimize the severity of these injuries should be grounds for impeachment. The fact the Trump-friendly VFW demanded an apology is a move in the right direction but only his disgraceful exit from the WH and Planet Earth will suffice.
12When the NFL proposed rule changes to prevent TBIs, he complained that the players weren’t tough enough to survive repeated concussions and other injuries and football was getting too soft. (“Uh-oh, got a little ding on the head?”) It’s hardly surprising he’d mock soldiers with similar injuries, especially since the Iranian attack was caused by his assassination of General Soleimani. Like all cowards, he loves to sound tough at the expense of others.
