Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
Uncle Joe just reminded me why I love the guy so much. I Still say he was my first choice, but I don’t blame him for not running given what he’s been through. Not too mention the service he’s already given. Also not to mention his endorsement of Hillary, which was awesome. His assessment of Donnie’s fitness for office was devastating. Especially because he’s uniquely qualified to judge. His sincerity has never been in question, and he hit it out of the park. Thanks Joe.
1I’m gonna have a big hurt when Jan. 2017 rolls around and we say goodbye to the Obamas and the Bidens. A big hurt.
2Joe is one awesome human being. Tonight Joe kicked Scumpf’s hairy ass all the way up over that orange face and the weird hairy thing that lives on his head.
I love Joe.
3J J Purty please, If you run into the gold star mother, give HER a big hug from us, the folks who visit this salon.
4How can you not love Joe? A lovely, lovely man. It amazes me that he still seems like a happy person (with that beautiful smile), in spite of the truly awful things that have happened in his personal life.
5Dang, he’s good– and a good man. I’m sorry I missed knowing him when he was growing up in Claymont and I was just over the PA line a few miles away. Like JAK, I’ll miss them both when they go back home.
And I think even Joe would laugh at the cartoon of his big grin as the preschool teacher tells the kids, “Today the Vice President will read to us from ‘Fuzzy Ducky’s Fun Day Plucking Flowers,” and one Secret Service agent mutters to the other, “This isn’t gonna end well.”
6YOWWWWWWWWWWWWW – Just heard our President speak – and now he is with Hill – there is hope!!!!
7Joe and Obama hit it out of the ballpark tonight. I was so proud of them!!! So upliftin’ and inspirin’, so unlike the dark and dreary outlook we got from Cleveland. Lordy, this country is going to miss those two magnificent human beings when they have to depart the White House. Total class, unlike the last POTUS and veep. Gov. Bloomberg really took The Donald down several notches; loved it when he called him a demagogue! So many great “talks” by really special people. Go, Hill!
8Really, really glad Joe could let it all out after all he has been through with the loss of his beloved son. Pence the Pented Up could never come anywhere near Joe’s galaxy!
9Joe and Barack both hit it outta the park last night!! OMG
10That Joe Biden … I think he is one dude who has actually gotten more handsome the older he has gotten … Wow!!
And, Barack … I didn’t have any socks on last night but he still blew them completely off and back into a dresser drawer! His hair may be gray now, but when he flashes that smile of his … oh, be still my heart!
Yes … I love them both and I am so going to miss them both … however, I am going to cheer and tear up when Hillary is sworn into that office come January!! I think Bill is of an age where he will behave himself this time around in the White House.
And Michelle and Jill … two of the most exceptionally poised and gracious ladies we’ve had at the White House. Bill has his role cut out for him trying to follow in Michelle’s footsteps!! LOL It’s going to be interesting to see what he actually does!
The Demos have been totally awesome…….they have me grinning from ear to ear……what a difference in conventions……I do wish the Bernie folks would calm down…..we need Bernie in congress to kick others around…..trump has really lost control of his mouth and his mind.
11Heh, Joe burned down the house alright…
Or at least the 20 meter high gold letters that spelled…
12I just couldn’t take watching the 2016 RNC. All of that fear and loathing was INTOLERABLE!
And then we get a week(-ish) of hope, love, and acceptance! I know I wear rainbow colored glasses, but it feels GOOD to be a believer in my fellow citizens this morning.
Well, rest up for tonight, then get ready to roll your sleeves up to bury that psycho-clown!
13NOT A CLUE!
NOT A CLUE!
NOT A CLUE!
14What a great night. This is what real Americans sound and look like. Who would vote for a school yard bully?– Oh that’s right Low IQ. bigot’s. That’s who, and we have way too many of them. If Drumpf will just keep talking he should beat him self.
15The Prez and Veep did us proud last night, but I was totally surprised at the excellence of Bloomberg’s speech. I knew he had endorsed Hillary, but did not expect this totally reasoned, rational speech, ending with his plea to elect a “sane and competent” candidate, Hillary Clinton. His words obviously targeted toward moderate Republicans and Independents.
16Nobody in the Drumpf base even knows what a sane and competent candidate is, much less cares.
Haven’t watched the President’s speech yet, Loved Joe. I also was really pleased with Bloomberg’s speech. I think he has the potential to reach those folks who have bought into trump as a “good businessman”. “I’m from NY. I know a con man when I see one.” and the comment about not needing a million dollars to start his business, were my favorites. I miss Molly Ivins and Ann Richards. Ann’s line about Bush, clearly applies to trump as well – “Born on third and thinks he hit a triple”
I hope that as soon as the convention ends, we’ll see all that opposition research put out. trump, literally, seems to have committed a number of crimes. I’m looking forward to Hillary’s camp (with all of her wonderful allies) chewing him up and spitting him out.
And as always, don’t forget to vote!
