Wait! Wait! Wait A Damn Minute!

June 24, 2021 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

There is a giant headline on CNN saying that Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from practicing law in New York because of his lies and whatnot over Donald Trump.

Okay #1:  Rudy Giuliani is a licensed attorney?  I thought he was just a showman who hangs out at Four Seasons, any Four Seasons, doesn’t even have to be in New York.

#2: Does this have anything to do with drippy sideburn leaks?

#3: Was this meant to send a message to Trump’s other “lawyers?”

#4: I’m sure the Alabama bar would welcome him with open arms and help him set up an office at the Four Seasons Trailer Park and Bait Camp.

You are having way too much fun with this, JJ. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

As long as it’s an Alabama redneck bar!

  4. Perhaps he’ll be indicted soon.

  5. The Politico story about it puts some of the court’s statements and other pertinent facts into perspective with regards to freedom of speech, as it applies to lawyers.
At least that’s the way I’m reading it.

Can he claim temporary insanity- like several years of it? Or leaking brain juice?

Shhh – no one invite him to Texas!

  8. After his work for Trump NY figured he would never work as a lawyer again.

  9. NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—After the state of New York banned Rudy Giuliani from practicing law, Americans expressed utter shock and disbelief that he had a law license.

“I did not know that he was an actual lawyer,” Carol Foyler, who lives in Bridgeport, Connecticut, said. “I just thought he was some skeezy guy Trump met at a wedding or something.”

Do bar associations and courts forward their decisions to all courts where the lawyer is licensed?

Thank you for the laughs, Ms. JJ! Otherwise I might be somewhat of an ungrateful grumpy growly bear with the ABA in NY. For real.

We all personally know many great lawyers and doctors. But really can anyone please explain wth is so wrong that neither the ABA nor AMA has shown any credible success with policing their own? Kinda sorta like collegiality in the US Senate. It is not working for us as “I” view events. Has there been one lawyer in proximity of the former twice impeached ***king moron** who should not be disbarred as well as indicted? Or, what about “doctor” Ronny, speaking of medical malpractice …

TexasTrailerParkTrash: Borowitz hit a stinker with “some skeezy guy Trump met at a wedding”. Everyone knows that Trump will only go to weddings where he gets to be the bride, and funerals where he gets to be the corpse. [At least, that’s how I recall the old LBJ quote about another obnoxious politician].

I have a feeling that lawyers everywhere felt a cold chill down their spines. After all, many of them rely on delicate ballets around the canyon of falsehood. Others rely on outright lying for a living. In any case, I’m sure the Rude will have Florida and Texas offering him a no-fee acceptance to their Bar associations.

  16. Where did the Audit Rangers send the arizona info? I’m sure they’d welcome rudy with open arms.

    17
  17. Kenneth Fair says:

He’s not coming to Texas. The State Bar’s rules governing the admissions of lawyers prevent someone from being admitted to the Texas bar if they have been disbarred or resigned in lieu of disbarment in another jurisdiction, until they are reinstated in that jurisdiction. Also, if you have been disciplined by another jurisdiction, that discipline applies here. So his current suspension by New York would prevent him from practicing law here until that suspension is removed.

No comment needed; it’s from the folks who unknowingly hosted Rude One’s most memorable appearance:
