Update on Adopt a County

November 05, 2015 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

Counting the checks we know are on the way, we will hit $5,000 in less than 24 hours.  You guys ROCK!

Two years ago when you guys helped me with this, my county’s mail ballot numbers went from 427 Democrats to 4,100.  Those are votes in the bank before election day.

Start saving up your pennies because I may ask you for another small donation before next November’s election.  I know I promised I wouldn’t, but I might.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I thank you.  Glen thanks you. And a whole mess of old people thank you.

Be social and share!

    Thanks everyone!

If you still haven’t donated, I’m now working on a special project to do mail ballots in the tiny west Texas counties withing Congressional District 23 where Pete Gallego is running to win back his district from a pesky Republican.

It’s only $1500 more to do it!

Glen, is this address still good for any counties you might be adding?

Yes, it is. We really need Pete back in office.

  4. We are lucky here in Arizona. Anyone can choose to be put on the Permanent Early Ballot list, and renewal is automatic when you change your address on-line at the same time you change your Driver’s license address. Our ballots arrive nearly a month before the Election. As of the last General Election, more than 60% of our voters used the Permanent Early Ballot. While most voters mail their ballots, we can also drop them into a locked box at early voting sites or in a locked receptacle at the polling place on Election day.

It occurs to me that the push for destruction of the Post Office may be the means by which the GOP/Tea Party gains control over the Voting Process. If the postal system is privatized and delivered to a Corporate Entity, it would be easy to tamper with ballots.

  5. innerlooper, thanks for the link. I got the same email, but did not have time to read it then. I vote in every Democratic primary and every election, every year.
