Two Things

April 02, 2018 By: Juanita Jean Herownself Category: Uncategorized

First, I broke my glasses last night and can’t get a new pair until Friday.  Long story.  Yes, I had a spare pair.  I broke them in January. Meanwhile, I cannot see squat.  I am not responsible for autocorrect until then because I’m just guessing what I’m typing.

Second, I raised that kid right and he didn’t help none at all.  Our youngest son, Mark, is suing Alex Jones.  If you see the story anywhere else, please let me know.

The Alex Jones defamation lawsuit is featured on Huffpost and the blurb says, “It might just go to trial.” You raised him right!

  2. Patrick Sullivan says:

The Daily Beast and Raw Story

    2
  3. I saw it on Rawstory. Its got a heading photo of crazy Alex Jones. You did good Juanita.

    3
  4. maryelle says:

The Huff post article names Mark Bankston as the attorney for a man who was INCORRECTLY identified as the Parkland School shooter by Infowars, Jones’ hate rag.
The poor guy has gotten death threats and his reputation is ruined. The suit is going for $1million. the rwnjs are accusing the guy of being one of those “communist democrats”.
    You go, Mark!

    4
  5. WA Skeptic says:

Wow! The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, does it???

Three cheers for the Bankston Family Tree!

    5
  6. Woohoo! Great job Juanita and Mark!

  7. That Other Jean says:

Your boy did good. I hope he and Marcel Fontaine are wildly successful, and Alex Jones gets taken to the cleaners. He has earned a living telling lies long enough.

    7
  8. That Other Jean says:

It doesn’t name the lawyer bringing the suit, but there’s a post about it on Joe.My.God, with a bunch of favorable comments.

    8
  9. A son to be proud of.
    Hope it bankrupts Mr. Jones.
He, Mr. Jones, needs an ass whooping on top of being deprived of a million dollars.

    9
  10. Now that is some good news on Monday morning!

    10
  11. AJ was a major ass in the old ACTV days when I ran into him there. Now he’s had a few more years experience at being an ass.
PLEASE put me on that jury.

    12
  12. Kudos on your parenting, and to your son as well.

    13
  13. About your glasses. WalMart generally carries a fairly good variety of specs. Suggest you check them out. At 10 or 12$ a pair, you can probably afford to keep a dozen or so laying around the house and in your car. Having those extras laying around has saved my marriage………

    14
  14. I’ve got $10 here that says AJ et al at some point during the proceedings claim that what they “reported” was just satire.

    15
  15. Damn, Juanita! You really did raise that kid right! Even my conspiracy theory son – who does not like AJ – is impressed!

    16
  16. Tilphousia says:

Saw the story on Huffpost and Apple News this AM. Go go GO, get Alex for good. That rotter did a series of his poison posts and accused the wrong man! Well he’s suing and heading for court.
You raised that lawyer of yours right!

    18
  17. I am so glad to hear that he is your son, and you are justifiably proud. I read the article earlier on HufPo too. It almost makes me feel like I know him.

    Dear Miss Juanita,
You must be so proud. I am and I don’t even know him!

    20
  19. Hot dang! WTG JJ, may your son slay that slimy ball-less dragon.
But only a paltry $1 million clams? Don’t know anything about the issue or AJ-the-mofo, but it never hurts to ‘go big’ to start. If it starts looking like the AJ jerk will lose he would reach out to his peers for some extra monetary help in a flash.
Would think that $4-5 million (or more) sounds about right for totally screwing up that guy’s life.

Now if only somebody would slice and dice ol’ Limpballs.

    21
  20. trixicopper says:

You really raised that kid well!
I did have to laugh though, my youngest son had that same ” Communist Party” t shirt. It was one of his favorites when he was in high school. It’s red and has Lenin, Stalin, Mao and others standing around with lamp shades on their heads.

    22
  21. Old Fart says:

    Hello!

I found it on Raw Story and Mediaite.

Raw Story focused on why the suit is flawed and headed for anti-SLAPP judgment…

    Still, yee haw!!!

    23
  22. Betty A Adams says:

Saw it in the Huffington Post.

    24
  23. The truth probably is it the
‘Stro’s home opener. Which you would attend totally blind and on life support.

    25
  24. yet another baby boomer says:

You’ve probably already see it by now but it hit the Houston Chronicle online around 7 p.m. Doesn’t mention Mark’s name, boooo, but that’s the Chronic for ya. However there was a good comment on Jones:
“Imagine a hernia grew so large it started to speak and was given its own radio program: that’s Alex Jones.”

    27
  25. Opinionated Hussy says:

Adding my voice to the “Bravo”s here! Wish I’d had advice from you when I was raising my 3….impressive!

    28
  26. Fabulous job of son raising…….I hope Mark gets rid of that heinous smurky face.

    29
  27. Maymoon says:

There must be consequences for this wrong information. I am old enough to remember the Atlanta bombing “suspect” who was cleared. Yet I am sure some people today still think he was the bomber. Good job, Mark

    30
  28. Juanita Jean Herownself says:

Old Fart – that’s what they get for trusting a California lawyer about Texas law.

    31
  29. Malarkey says:

    Go get ‘im, Mark!

    32
  30. DaddyWasATexan says:

The story just showed up on Stephanie Miller (FreeSpeechTV).
You can also go to her website.

    33
  31. Your son just made the New York Times.

    34
  32. Buttermilk Sky says:

Congratulations, Miss Juanita Jean. But I agree, a million is not enough for wrecking this man’s life because he wore a T shirt with a joke too subtle for the Infowhores readership. Clean Jones out and make him get a real job at the carwash.

    35
  33. Let hear it for legal eagles engaged in the good fight.

ps Question – It is reported that after the sentencing, and serving his sentence, of the dutch lawyer, Alexander van der Zwaan, for lying to Muellers is to be deported.
Will he be banned from Re-entry or transit of the US, and territories, in the future?

    36
  34. Susan on the Left Coast says:

I saw Mark’s case briefly mentioned in the Miami Herald in the midst of a news article about a Chinese billionaire suing Roger Stone and Infowars for defamation….$100 million buckeroo dollars. 10, 9, 8 countdown until they both are crowd sourcing for money to hire lawyers for all these cases.

    37
  35. Linda Phipps says:

Re: your glasses. Considering the nature of what is the “news”, it’s a wonder you didn’t break them on purpose.

    38
  36. The story just popped up on the immoral minority blog.
