Welcome to The World's Most Dangerous Beauty Salon, Inc.
My name is Susan DuQuesnay Bankston. I live in Richmond, Texas, in the heart of Tom DeLay's old district. It's nuttier than squirrel poop here.
I am honored and privileged to know Miss Juanita Jean Herownself, hairdresser extraordinary and political maven. Since she does not have time to fiddle with this internet stuff, I type her website for her and you can read it if you want to. If you don't, she truly does not give a big bear's butt.
A lot of what I post here has to do with local politics, but you probably have the same folks in your local government.
This ain't a blog. Blogs are way too trendy for me. This is a professional political organization.
To those people…. who keep sending these idiots to Congress.
A plague on all your heads.
1Is it possible that the sane part of Texas could spin off East Texas under the terms of the agreement when it joined the Union?
2Too busy spewing stupid to notice, I guess. Louie’s not alone in that. The sad part is that there’s really no down side for the spewers. It seems they’ve got their constituents completely pegged.
Rules for GOP politicians: #1 The sky is always falling in Republicanland, and; #2 Never underestimate the power of OOOGA-BOOGA!
3Apparently Louie’s not getting the newsletter. Or the guy he gets his talking points from went out for a smoke.
4As soon as they get something they want, they forget. No wonder they’re always saying the Democrats won’t compromise with them.
5Louie, dumb? Yup. Incontrovertible. I remember when I first saw Congress in action decades ago there were Congresscritters with – so help me – Phi Beta Kappa keys on their tie pins and watch chains (yeah, they still wore those back then). If you looked them up in their college yearbooks you would see that the PBK key was legit. But as soon as they were elected and didn’t have to live where they came from, the actually stopped reading newspapers and such and listening to radio news and watching TV (we had it back then) and would admit to it with a sneering snort or snuffle. None of that was good enough for them. The majority of them simply did not last in the House and those who coveted Senate seats rarely, but rarely ever made it. Well, the PBK key holders kind of died off but once again we have the same kind of arrogant, entitled snobs on the Hill and this time around most of them can’t spell or use a computer. They glory in their I’m just a good old boy elite-ness. The more things change the more they remain the same!
6Louie joined Michele Bachmann at the WWII memorial to move some barricades and greet the vets who wanted to roll around and look at the flags.
As if that would make up for underfunding the VA, and threatening the viability of their Medicare and Social Security every chance they got.
Moving barricades and greeting people –
Michele and Louie have finally found jobs in Washington they are QUALIFIED for.
7Heard that Reince Priebus [or whatever the heck his stupid name is] is offering to pay to keep the WWII Memorial open … but those who are smart enough to pay attention can see through this charade and folks are calling him on it … it’s all for blow and show and nothing else!!
He’s right up there with Michelle, Louie, King and the rest of them trying to cash in politically with what their stupid party has done!!
8Marcia in CO – you’re right, Reince Priebus is a showboat with flashing neon lights. Must of us are taxpayers (I assume) and we not only have kept the WWII Memorial open up until now, we built it. You’re welcome Republicans.
9Good old Lou….keep your finger on the pulse. Can I say a$$hat. But I am from California. You all know we “libruls” have no manners……teehee.
10How the hell can the WWII memorial be closed since it is an outdoor memorial park? Putting barricades across the sidewalks and ramps closes it? Way too stoopud for me.
11Boner’s got his hands full with all those rwnj’s in the house. Couldn’t happen to a nicer rwnj.
12Myrna, outdoor parks need park police and trash can emptiers and restroom maintenance and guides and all those sort of people, and right now barely any of those folks are being allowed to work. And they’re not allowed to volunteer either.
13The very least the government HAS to do is place barriers to hopefully prevent liability claims if some nutjob enters and gets hurt. Teabaggers and rethuglicans, who hate lawyers with a passion, are probably goading people to help themselves so they can sue . Snowdrift Snookie is urging people to access the Veteran’s Mem. and she blames Obama for the shutdown.
