Trump Leads Family Vigil for Dying Brother. By Playing Golf

August 16, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Trump

Robert Trump, Donald’s younger brother, died last night after have health problems.  Cause of death has not been announced (at least yet).  Apparently Trump had visited him in New York on Friday.  Taking the helm for the family, Trump led a family vigil at the hospital with his children and wife to comfort the rest of the family… I’m just kidding.  Trump played golf with retired football player Jay Freely (whoever that is).  That’s right, Trump was so overcome by grief about his dying brother that he played golf.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

  1. Consistent.

  2. WA Skeptic says:

Nice to know he was so devastated by the loss of his favorite brother.

    Fore!!!!

  3. And Rump said, “It is, what it is”.

    3
  4. I wonder if the brother died of shame from being outed by the niece.

No chance that could happen to BLOATUS…

    4
  5. At least he’s consistent (and predictable).

    5
  6. He went to the movies the night his older brother died.

From Noel Casler on Twitter: Robert Trump died from ‘a cunning and baffling disease’ plain & simple. It’s a family disease, but there is a solution. Sorry for your loss.

  8. The loss of a beloved sibling, who our president also said was his best friend—- must be a bone crushing event. Or, it is something you can get past with a couple of rounds of golf and shits and giggles with
    an ex place kicker.

  9. RepubAnon says:

Trump probably wondered whether it would help his poll numbers.

Jay Freely, hmmm…any relation to I.P.?

  11. Seriously, if any of you are ever near the Golden Gibbon, yawn. Yes, yawn. See if he does. Usually everyone around you will yawn. Except the sociopath.

  12. Sandridge says:

Damn, Lady Karma missed again …

    12
  13. Although it’s fun to contrast Donald with his less horrible siblings, always remember that each and every one of them was a-okay with committing massive tax fraud re their father’s estate. That’s why his judge sister resigned her cushy lifetime judgeship, to thwart the investigation. They’re better than Donny, sure, but not by much.

  14. Sam in Superior says:

I hope Donnie is soon reunited with deceased family members. Remember what they say, “It’s a dry heat”.

    14
  15. Jane & PKM says:

Sandridge @12, noticed that. Considering a GoFundMe page to equip Lady Karma with laser sights. Seriously. WTF? Donnie is painted international racing orange, broader than the proverbial broad side of a barn, with the heat signature of a herd of rhinos.

  16. Buttermilk Sky says:

“He didn’t stop Mary from writing that nasty book which is FAKE HISTORY so he’s dead to me. What? Well, did he leave me anything?”

    16
  17. Trump’s brother, who immediately after being released from the hospital a month or two ago took the lead in filing a lawsuit against Mary’s book. That brother. Who was so ill he was readmitted to the hospital. That’s how he spent his last weeks on earth. Don dropped by Friday to say, thanks Robert, for having my back.

    17
  18. All of Donnie’s siblings were perfectly fine with committing massive tax fraud re their father’s estate. (That’s why Trump sister resigned her lucrative, cushy, lifetime judgeship, to thwart the investigation.). They may be somewhat better they him, but that’s a low bar. And the facts show they’re tax criminals at the very least.

  19. Steve from Beaverton says:

As has been mentioned, he’s consistent in how he shows respect to people who have died, whether a Covid fatality or his brother- he doesn’t really give a shit as long as it isn’t him.
My guess is staff wrote his sympathy tweet cuz he was putting around.
He should be a pretty darn good golfer as much as he plays. He should be able to really put his large ass into his swings. But I’ve heard he is shitty and cheats, just like everything he does.
Bet he makes everyone he plays with and those watching (secret police) to sign NDA’s!

    19
  20. A small revision on my last sentence at #16:

Don dropped by for a second to say, thanks Robert, for having my back. I really wish I could stay another minute or two but got a tee time scheduled tomorrow.

    20
  21. May Donald receive the same love and compassion as he
showed to others, both in life and in Death.

    21
  22. Wonder if we’ll hear the cause of death. They’re being very vague on that. Covid, anyone?

    22
  23. Jane & PKM says:

AK Lynne @22, even worse for Donnie in medical terms. Not Covid-19, but one of the disease/disorders requiring blood thinners. It was reported that Robert died of a brain bleed subsequent to a fall. Why Robert may have been taking blood thinners is an entirely unrelated issue when considering how Commander Clorox sounds like a walking stroke and looks like a coronary in progress with stroke like symptoms.

RIP Robert. By all accounts you and your brother Fred were flawed aka normal men. Not so much the Mutt in the Middle.

  24. 1toughlady says:

I think you mean Jay Feely, the retired NFL kicker.

    24
  25. john in denver says:

Any word on whether Don was getting kicking lessons from Freeley to improve his golf game?

Any notion Trump was looking for a spot where his beloved brother would want to be “resting” on the course?

    25
  26. Old Quaker says:

Donald shows us how a sociopath morns the death of a dutiful scape goat brother.

    26
  27. Marcia in CO says:

Heard an announcement on MSNBC this morning [Monday] that Trump is planning a small memorial service for Robert at the White House on Friday, the 21st, because Donnie boy just knows how proud his brother is of him on how he is ruining the country!

    27
  28. Harry Eagar says:

Let’s start a story that Donnie bumped him off to keep him from testifying about the financial frauds.
