Trump Hails “Bipartisan Effort” – With Not One Democrat in the Room

March 27, 2020 By: El Jefe Category: Trump

Trump is on national television with his pants down around his ankles and every Republican leader and health agency leader kneeling to kiss his ass.  They’re now stumbling all over themselves to help praise on Il Douche.  Not ONE Democrat in the room.

Makes me want to puke. Jesus.

Be social and share!

  1. I’m glad there were no Democrats. The sucking up is just nauseating, glad no Dems participated.

    1
  2. Even if not invited, the Dems know a lot of those old boys have been rubbing shoulders with Rand “COVID-19” Paul.

    2
  3. Good point, Rick. Dems smarter.

El Jefe, when the ***king moron* isn’t talking soap, he’s* still all wet. The bill he* just signed sux. It would have soaped even more so had not Democrats stood up to Moscow Mitch and demanded a few crumbs for the people amongst the corporate welfare giveaways. Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez was absolutely correct in her description of the bill. Unfortunately people are desperate for health care and need money now, so Moscow Mitch was able to take hostages.

Hey media – real men and women like Gov Cuomo, Gov Whitmer, and Sec/Sen Kerry are the ones who need to be heard. We’d be a better nation if the ***king moron* was never heard or seen again.

Kentucky, please, do us and yourselves a favor in November, vote for Amy McGrath.

    4
  5. It should reduce the head count on the GOP side

    5
  6. They’ll all take a bow, leave D.C. for three weeks in their home states, where they can roll & moan privately with their positive tested feverish Rand Paul acquired symptoms, out of the public eye. Then they’ll return to Congress and claim again, this has all been exaggerated, blown completely out of proportion, let’s get back to work & play in offices, stadiums and restaurants in our dutiful role as social sardines.

I expect many Republicans will seek to pwn the libs by ignoring social distancing. I’m sure the power of positive thinking will work out as below:

“A man fell from a skyscraper, and at each window bar.
He shouted to the folks inside: ‘Doing all right so far!'”

I take no pleasure in this – but “failing to plan is planning to fail” – and there’s been a lack of planning throughout the Trump Administration.

Any politician who has been in a group after being warned not to (which would include any politician attending a political function, social or campaign), and certainly any who got a test before everyone else and “clear” at that time then chose to go get infected, should be forcibly quarantined *in the group they attended.*

Won’t happen, of course, but it would be fairer to everyone else. Also if they’d quit traveling back and forth and stay put. There’s no reason their business could not be conducted online, like the rest of us

  12. 2 Points
    1) the demented one has pulled out the twits “signing statement” to avoid abeying the law. Assuming complete authority to reprogram funds and block Congressional oversight. Want to bet that “the wall” gets an infusion of funds from the money supposeed to go to people instead of touching any of the corporate bail out funds. Oh and a good chunk will end up in his and kushners bank accounts.

    2) That thuglican stronghold of addled seniors living at “the Villages” in florida has been hit with virus. This is after they had scoffed at the very existence of the problem as rush, hannity and others told them.
Already thuglican Gov. has sent special resources and equipment to them. Gee aren’t they suppose to be willing to sacrifice for their descendants?

    12
  13. megasoid says:

That posit should have been “… 3 major retail outlets left, Amazon, WalMart & Big Lots.”

    13
  14. Now watching the health care workers, grocery clerks and all those unsung heros who are engaged in activities to save lives and enable us to continue to eat and have utilities I feel now we are seeing the Best of us.
Not the butchers in unifarm who revel in slaughter and mass violence inder the protective rubic of “just obeying orders”.
people saving lives with out a massive, and expensive, wasteful organization dediciated to destruction are not the “best of us” but rather the dregs of humanity.
While those who, often on their own, wake up and go out to risk their lives so the rest of the population, and civilization, can continue with insufficient equipment (masks, PP equipment etc) are truly the best of us for they seek to save lives and support humanity compared to those who’se only reason for existence is to torture, and rain destruction on their fellow human beings.
So three cheers for the underpaid (in most cases) who are in the metaphorical trenches every day for the sake of humanity. Thank You.

In FL only a couple of days ago, the # of deceased was only about 18 or 20 on Avi’s database. Today it is at 46. This was due to spring breakers hitting the beaches and then spreading the virus through FL. and heading back up north, mostly NY. Gov. DeSantis is being sued for not closing the beaches and thus exacerbating the spread.

    15
  16. Jane & PKM says:

In 2018 NV had a choice between current Gov Sisolak and Chris Giunchigliani in the Democratic primary. “Chris G” was the better candidate, but I swear voters were too stupid to either pronounce or spell Giunchigliani. But we have to give Steve his props on his handling of COVID-19. With two international airports and all the casinos, NV was way up on Avi’s dashboard when he began his database. Not the rapid deceleration everyone would like, but this coronavirus is tough. Certainly not for wimps like the ***king moron* to handle the response needed.

Ron DeSantis should be shot for not closing the beaches because of revenue. We haven’t heard that kind of whining from major casino corporations; not even the repulsive Shelly Adelson.

Wish I’d grabbed a screen shot of Avi’s dashboard day one to compare with today. Not that Donnie* would learn, but the contrast between the results of Democratic Governors and Republicons is stark.

    Two points:
1] Trump he knew the Democrats wouldn’t stand for his self congratulation on how well the country is doing under his “leadership.”

2] Thank you, Trump, for not putting Democrats’ health at risk — given the way you adhere to the gov’t social distancing guidelines.

    17
  18. Better the Dems weren’t there. They were all packed together (photo op!!!) and Drumpf passed out pens (germ or virus or nobody knows what it is spreaders).

Oh, I thought I saw Elaine Chao in the line up. Why?

  19. Elizabeth Moon says:

Morning email included one from Ted Cruz’s office bragging about sending *real money!* to Americans as a “bridge” over the “flood”….a one-time check of $1200/adult and $500/child. And he thinks that will carry everyone over the troubled waters because billions more are going to “small businesses” to keep them afloat and paying employees.

How long does he think $1200 will keep a roof over someone’s head and food in their stomach, when they’re unemployed for months? There’s no chance of getting medical care (or insurance) with a one-time $1200.

He says he wants “more targeted, commonsense” approaches to dealing with Covid19…which suggests he still thinks “stay where you are, don’t mingle, until we get a vaccine and/or an effective treatment” isn’t targeted (it is) or common sense (it is) and some other fairy-dust notion will be. People who know how are already working toward a vaccine, and other people are working toward treatments…those are the only other possibilities. Cruz is behind increasing supplies to hospitals and staffs (good) but then he voted against bills earlier that would’ve *maintained* adequate supplies in advance of any pandemic in the past.

  20. Jane & PKM says:

    Chris Murphy (D-CT)

On Feb. 5, Murphy tweeted: “Just left the Administration briefing on Coronavirus. Bottom line: they aren’t taking this seriously enough. Notably, no request for ANY emergency funding, which is a big mistake. Local health systems need supplies, training, screening staff etc. And they need it now.”

Feb 5 What was needed, when we needed it, and Alex Azur (HHS) and other ‘officials’ of the maladministration said no. So now we’re two months behind with a stimulus bill directed upward to the .01% with a few crumbs to those needing help the most.

Not surprised that the dicktater would make sure to have something in the package which allowed him to grab more power, i.e. reduced oversight:

I do not understand, and my Administration will not treat, this provision as permitting the SIGPR to issue reports to the Congress without the presidential supervision required by the Take Care Clause, Article II, section 3.

One more time, I see Trump acting like Newman on Seinfeld when he stated when you control the mail, you control information. In this case, Trump just adds more control in allowing what information is released.

Cell Phone Tracking Analysis Shows Where Florida Springbreakers and New Yorkers Fleeing Coronavirus Went to Next

A viral video showing cell phone data collected by location accuracy company X-Mode from spring break partiers potentially spreading the coronavirus around the U.S. has brought up questions of digital privacy even as it shows convincingly the importance of staying home to defeat the disease.

“I don’t know what scares me more, the spread of Florida beach revelers or that this data is being tracked.”
    —Roberto Rocha, CBC News

“First thing you should note is the importance of social distancing,” tweeted Daily Dot journalist Mikael Thalen of the video. “The second is how much data your phone gives off.”

The data in the video, which X-Mode fed into mapping platform Tectonix, shows people from one Florida beach over spring break departing the Sunshine State and spreading around the country, mostly to the Northeast.

  28. Steve from Beaverton says:

He’s not really interested in helping people thru this pandemic, but instead looking for every opportunity to take credit and help his campaign. He wasted money to send Coronavirus postcards to everyone with the headline being TRUMP…(mine was torn up immediately), like making sure his signature is on every check from the Coronavirus bill, and blocking the part of the bill that was intended to insure transparency in how money to big business is used (and not line pockets). I’m sure that made his big donors happy. Puke!
